@fullgamerzone It is because of the powerful system of the dreamcast that could process 128 bits, so the developers had the opportunity to add more detail to game that they would do on the playstation that was 32 bits. 128 and 32 is a great difference.
I don't care whether it's a shitty port to most people. I love this port because the graphics are obviously smoother than the playstation version. I grew up playing the dreamcast version actually. :P
I really liked this game back in the day. I was more into the first RE's slow, steady horror than the action movie-esque sequels, so I enjoyed this more than any of the later REs. I know I'm in the minority though.
No I too liked the original 3 RE's and the first Dino Crisis. Capcom really fucked up Resident Evil and DC, with perhaps the exception of the 2 outbreak games. DC 2 was ok but the story wasn't very good imo and the ending was just not DC! I still play DC1 and the original Re games to this day. Graphically they look different but I don't care I was never one for graphics anyway.
The Dreamcast version of the original Dino Crisis... and yet Capcom was obviously lazy when porting their back catalog of hits. Well, most of them prior to the recent Resident Evil games. What a shame that Capcom killed the series with the (unrelated-in-story) third game. Apart from a cameo in Namco x Capcom, we'll never get to see a conclusion to Regina's storyline.
