Runs like a duck on my Acer Neotouch (1Ghz Snapragon). Zoom is blocky, scrolling judders and the checkerboard is present when panning. IE on the other hand runs smoothly and quickly. I've never waited 3 minutes for ANY site. I'm so glad OM was only a trial....
Could somebody make a quick Youtube video showing Opera Mobile opening a .mht file on their phone that has been saved from the main Opera browser
On the Windows or Mac version of Opera just save any WikiPedia page with all the images and data to the single .mht file and then transport that file over to your phone and open with Opera Mobile app and see ??
Please could someone make a video on this and do a video response
" it seemes unlikely to me to load a page that fast on a 2.5G"
I don't know anything about the technology behind this but I'd guess it works like this; Operas Server downloads the full page at full broadband speed and then scales all the information down to suit mobile resolutions etc. This means a smaller amount of data needs to be transfered to your phone. Thus the experienced high speed download. But that's just pure guessing. I haven't even read their own description of how it works.
i'm a x1 fan and an opera mobile fan but this video still could be a total fake. now don't get me wrong i hope its all true but it seemes unlikely to me to load a page that fast on a 2.5G the procesed apge still needs to get from opera turbo dserver over the 2.5g to the phone. don9t mind my thinking. im usualy wrong
I'm worried about how this is going to be released cost wise. O-Mobile is installed by default on my touch pro, and i get free upgrades via updated roms and what not... but is this going to be considered a update or a new release?

Hi,
Does Opera Mobile support opening & reading of MHTML (.mht files) just like the desktop version of Opera?
Does Opera Mobile support tabbed browsing like the desktop version?
-=if anyone knows, please respond by pressing reply on my comment

I support tabbed browsing. No idea about MHTML though. Download and try it out?
mortenlu 2 years ago
Yes, it does - I recently tried it.

So Opera Mobile supports MHTML (that is a .mht file saved from the standard Opera browser - PC version)

I don't understand why my question was deleted:
is the "turbo property" a free service or just a expensive charged feature?
metanoltube 2 years ago 2
opera turbo is already used on opera mini, which is free and the new opera 10 beta so that's means this feature is free.
The only thing that might and probably will cost is the browser itself... atleast it did cost to own the 8.5 version.
