wow i was three when this console came out and still i grew up with n64, super nintendo, and of course ps2 in 2001. I think ill pick one up off eBay because the games are still sold just not in public plus some of the games are fantastic like soul calibur and resident evil games are definitely in my interests. plus half life is amazing and i don't care what console its on or how it looks :)

Can't argue with you there. I mean Microsoft in a way based their XBL servies on the SegaNet. They used their WindowsCx or whatever its called to bring online to the dreamcast. I think sega was the first to bring online gaming to home consoles.

I have a problem with my dc. in the game "Speed devils" when I'M on the loading screen to a special track the dc is resetting to the main menu.Does anyone knows how to fix the problem?
Not sure if you fixed the problem but it sounds like you're using the wrong type of power cable, try using a generic two prong cable for it instead and it should gradually stop resetting itself.
I still have a sega dreamcast, my powerstone, 3rd strike, MVC 1 & 2, RE2, typing of the dead, MDK2, Code Veronica, etc. Best gaming sytem there was and so sad that it ended, great times though.

The Dreamcast controller is obviously modeled after the 3d controller on the Saturn.
I bought a Dreamcast in November 1999. Although a lot of people didn't buy a Dreamcast because of the upcoming PS2, there is still a loyal fanbase for the console. Although the system failed in the marketplace, it lives on in my heart. I still play my Dreamcast to this day.

1. The dualshock 2 controller its small easy to use and for all hands
2. Motion gaming the PS2 had the eye toy what did not need any controllers or remotes
3. More sales the PS2 had like 900 000 thousand sales with the first day it was realeased

In my opinion the dreamcast is the superior console, it had great titles like nfl 2k2 n quake 3 arena best game of all time btw and mk gold, it had amazing graphics for the time n it had online capabilites which no other console had at the time, it didnt deserve what it got n its still one of my favorite consoles. In my opinion the dreamcast is truly what it said it was... "the ultimate gaming console"

Can't argue with you there. I mean Microsoft in a way based their XBL servies on the SegaNet. They used their WindowsCx or whatever its called to bring online to the dreamcast. I think sega was the first to bring online gaming to home consoles.

I got to get me another Dreamcast fast. The games on it were fun as hell and I never got bored of it either. Sega was known for making good games. I had one years ago when it came out but I lost it somehow. Weird. But any ways when I get my money right, I'm purchasing the Sega Dreamcast. I miss that boot up and the controller.

I agree with the person below me. It should've gotten more credibility towards it's hardware and what it could do. First game console to have online caplebility, awesome VMU cards(those were amazing), the arcade style of games was hella fun, and the epic peaceful boot up screen. Sega will always be n my heart. Sega please come back.

I have a problem with my dc. in the game "Speed devils" when I'M on the loading screen to a special track the dc is resetting to the main menu.Does anyone knows how to fix the problem?

Not sure if you fixed the problem but it sounds like you're using the wrong type of power cable, try using a generic two prong cable for it instead and it should gradually stop resetting itself.

I still have a sega dreamcast, my powerstone, 3rd strike, MVC 1 & 2, RE2, typing of the dead, MDK2, Code Veronica, etc. Best gaming sytem there was and so sad that it ended, great times though.

The Dreamcast controller is obviously modeled after the 3d controller on the Saturn.
I bought a Dreamcast in November 1999. Although a lot of people didn't buy a Dreamcast because of the upcoming PS2, there is still a loyal fanbase for the console. Although the system failed in the marketplace, it lives on in my heart. I still play my Dreamcast to this day.
