  • hey! i have this same pc! picked it up at a yardsale for 50 bucks

  • LMAO, it has a floppy drive. pahahahaha

  • Lol my $800 dollar computer is better then this XD

  • so freaking fun to see that 5 years ago, 2.0 ghz dual core was the best! i got a 3.6ghz quadcore from amd, and that is a standard cpu in most pcs 1000$ pcs today!

  • my laptop is better

  • I have that GeForce card somewere?

  • lol 2006

  • This computer is piece of plastic compared to our newest technologies :O

  • Dat Graphics Card.

  • This is better than my current pc hahah

  • looks cheap.......nuff said

  • whats the music? (I know it was used in the toms hardware video)

  • @fleetwoodsucks I dont remember the name, but it's from their 5GHz overclocking video.

  • @sciguy14 Second song is Karsten Koch - Aryx, Search it on the mod archive.

  • new pcs = car insurance =500 pounds a year to stay at a good level i just think its a ripoff now

  • i wanda what the 3d vantage mark is on that pc

  • so outdated now, you should make a new one in a couple of months!

  • @phsyconut ...I have much newer videos.

  • Where can I get a eSATA record player?

  • dude... a flopy drive? why dont you include a record player while your at it... maybe a telegraph for talking to friends.

  • and for the ppl who wanna know... it's better then a ps3 xD

  • I lold at the song, its from the 5GHZ project, Nice video.

  • my pc is 1400 euro's much better than that pc XD ATI 5870 card hell yeah!!

  • Remember everyone, this was made FOUR YEARS ago.

  • spoild,i cant afford that <.<

  • lol i have a crappy computer better than this:

    Pentium 4

    1.5 GB RAM

    225 GB Hard Drive

GeForce 9400 GT 1 GB VRAM using PCI

    300 W PSU

    =3 old stuff lol

  • @L05tS0ul from 2006?

  • just sayin =P

  • this computer would smoke your pentium 4 system, just because you have a geforce 9400 doesn't mean anything, actually it's funny you bought that card because you're bottlenecking the hell out of it, that card needs a better processor

  • @MetalPower86 Yeah i know, planning to get a dual core soon as a temporary until my new build. Still, it still improved my computer's performance by a surprising amount, and i'm happy for the purchase anyways.

  • Hmmm 2006? ok.lol. "Ultimate Computer"?

My 2006 Rig was an asus m2n-sli 570 board

    hiper 580 modular ps

    2.8Ghz athlon 64 5600+ windsor am2

    2x1gb g.skill pc-6400 800Mhz

    evga 8800 gts 640mb graphics

It was not a Ultimate build either but i could play crysis medium settings.wicked on everything else.

  • Erm, tndrckr, considering that the PS3's GPU is based on the Nvidia GeForce 7800GT architecture (and performance) and this old system has 2 of them running in SLi - this gaming PC would blow your PS3 out of the water! Your PS3 is not "WAYYYYYYYYYY" faster - it is much slower when gaming.

Dost brag if you don't know what your talking about 'cause it's humiliating for you when you're told you're wrong.

  • YA BUT DOESNT SEEM FASTER THO

  • This is from 2006 you idiot

  • @tndrckr man you live in the dark.

  • lol some funny vid

  • to bad thats already 3.5 years ago and everything is already outdated

  • ye really really outdated lol

  • AWESOME RIG! I cant wait to build one even close to this. I hope its half the machine that this is. I am so jealous right now...

  • This machine is 3 years old.

You could build one better now for the same amount of money used to make this one. So i would say you should build your own rig.

    Good luck!!

  • K thanks!

  • thats a 400$ today...piece of junk. even tho it super power s my current computer

  • Lololol! its not even a dual core. What the hell is wrong with you. Even for 2006, this is not "bad ass" its mid ranged.

  • @CudeLuda, the AMD 64 x2 Athlon 4400+ is a dual-core CPU - an early one too. Its competitor was the Intel Pentium D CPU. Some people still use it today as it isn't all that bad - people on budgets of course. Today it will bottleneck the latest and greatest cards though of course.

  • Errm. This is weird. I'm looking for my comment, and can't find it. Went back to last year, still no comment from me.

How the hell did you reply? I don't even remember posting :)

PS: I own a Pentium D 820. Pretty good for budget gaming. Holds onto the 9800GT pretty well.

  • @CubeLuda, I found that you have to click "All comments) since YouTube gets comments orders mixed up often ;)

  • I went back a whole year!! :O

  • im sure this used to be good... now not really :( hope mine doesn't end up like this in a few years :/ lol

  • kinda worth nothing today rly

  • you should have used an intel core i7 extreme.

  • haha

  • in 2006?

  • Doesn't it sucks that technological advancement law states that Technology will advance every 18 months so this computer is actually VERY OLD!!! i'm trying to built an AMD Quad Core Phenom 2 Black edition 3.2 GHz... right now all i'm missing are video card and power supply... low on money... :( already have RAM :)

  • how again can you afford all of this

  • I work.

  • how things change.... i expect 2 tb sata hdd now

  • 2:09 wow o.o cable mess :O

  • The music does not belong to this video

  • 2:07 terrible cable mess

  • ...yeah it was my first build...I've gotten better.

  • how much money did this cost. please respond.

  • About 1700 when I built it. TOday its probably worth closer to 600...

  • .......... terrible comp :O

  • not for 2006 :D

  • Yeah that was amazing back in 06

  • A 600W Power Supply was unheard of back in '06. 320GB was fucking huge, and a 7800GT was for rich people.

  • yea, i always wondered what would happen if you went back around 5 years with your current mobo, even a crappy dell

  • you freaking noobs! the processor and RAM go in before you install the mobo in the case... jeez!

  • The order makes no difference...

  • there is a difference... by installing them before you install the mobo, you have more room to work with... especially when it comes to installing the processor, the thermal paste and cooler unit. the levers and all are easier to secure when out of the case...

  • it's amazing how computer change over the years...

  • noob com

  • Lol, this computer sucks

  • This video is from 3 years ago.

  • April 04, 2006 noob

  • NOOB is right

  • Pls what is the name of song which is start at 0:40 ?

  • Its the same song all the way through. It's from the Toms Hardware 5GHz video.

  • wow 7800 is a very powerful card XD it isnt

    but its for 2006.

  • ...and suddently, a Crysis CD attacked.

    Framerates slowed to 5!

But 3 years ago... now that was.... pretty good!

  • lol its set to 160 euro hahaha lol xD

  • O MY GAWD!!!

  • whats this worth now...200 bucks?

  • haha not that little, but it's down there...

  • lol 7800gt!

  • in 2006 a 7800gt was 200 euro's

  • Do u recommend a MACBOOK

  • It depends what you are using it for, but in general, they make excellent computers.

  • oh i am going to use it for doing school work, and to mainly edit videos and photos.

  • should be good for that.

  • I had one and loved it. I sold it because it was the non 64 bit core duo. I would love to get another one but they are pricey. Mine was not good for any gaming at all with its built in graphics.

  • yeh or crysis :D

  • lol

  • We all do have girlfriends.

  • damn technology advances so fast...3 years later and your stuff already is outdated..

  • In the description he states that it's a "media editing monster" . . . . in this sense it probably still blazes through whatever he's doing. But as a gaming pc this is shit now.

  • 2 words - cable management, i know it 2 years old an all all but good airflow = lower temps, lower lemps = longer life and better performance

  • lol 2 gb ram

4 gb is like 35 euro now :)

that would be like 46 usd

    damn i love 2009 :P

  • sweet lookin pc, its two years old but yall did a good job with, how well did the pc perform

  • It was a great PC in its time. It's still being used now by my brother, and it works well.

  • No one gives a shit fagot and this was in 2006.

my core 2 duo would rape your "quad" core little shit.

  • any no one really gives a shit!!!

    No one really do.

  • Love the cose and the system is hi end but if you want the rig to last longer then the money did for you to get it i would say intel.

@zomfgwtfpwnt Wrong my friend AMD is way better at speed thats why they piss heat everywhere.

Thats not realy ultimate with that fat lol.

Intel are more the stable system and way more

to hi the speeds itel do.

got to love your cose tho.

  • uh dude don't go for AMD for an ultimate computer, go intel, it is way faster then crappy AMD, on the bright side other than that, great pc.

  • this computer was built in 2006, before Intel's core 2 series. At this time AMD was better. Now I would agree with you that Intel's CPUs are superior.

  • ur using amd in an "ultimate pc"?

  • 2006 dude, no core 2

  • ive seen better mine looks better but im selling it so yeah

  • fake.

  • That's not the best PC i've seen. My PC cost 60.000 swedish "Kronor" That's about 10.000$.

But im a "classic" computer freak :P

  • This computer is over two years old.

  • talk about dated tech

  • top of the line back in the day lmaooooooooooo

  • I know, right?

  • that is an ok machine now

  • My brother uses, and it still works great :)

  • ddr? LOL!

  • when you say aspire, do you mean acer?

  • No, I mean aspire. They have since changed their name to apevia.

  • omg he has 3 hands!

  • hahahah i was gunna say how many people does it take to screw in a hard drive

  • is it ok to wear latex gloves when building a computer?

do i really need anti static band or is it ok to just touch my case before building?

  • Touching your case is fine. Just work on a good surface like wood. (not carpet)

  • well, you can touch touch something iron, touch your case but dont dance and move around around the room. Touch a case, then stay in the same place, or just touch it every time you move

  • you don't have 1 tb and Quad Core 2 Processer your computer lags in games and is slow

  • This was built in april 2006.

  • oh but is it laggie in High Games?

  • it still performs decently. It's not my primary computer anymore.

  • Really so do you have a Quad Core 2 Now? must be nice having it my uncle has that on his Processer but His computer Frezzes from it i don't know why his computer has 2 Hard Drives 1 Gb of memory but frezzes alot or i don't know maybe i'll check what kind of processer

  • ultimate computer LOL!

  • 3 year old. 7800 were pretty much the best of it's time untill the 7900gtx came out.

  • Ah, I remember when this stuff was top of the line :P. Good memories of wasted money XD

  • Cool music in the background? Where? When?

  • This was 2 years ago. So please start posting something worth reading. You useless person.

  • Even for 3 years ago, shitty computer

  • I agree.

  • i thought there was going to be some water cooling

  • Do you keep your room as messy as your computer cases?

  • I learned a lot from this case, and I agree with your arguments. I didn't really like it either. I've since cleaned up the wires a lot, and I now have a new computer in a new case.

  • I don't like that case. not at all. I had mine for 5 months and in that time the power button broke, had two wires for hotwire type starting, the fans got real loud, the airflow sucked from the begginning, the HDD cages were a beach to get out with my big heatsink..... my fault. The LED's are like night lights for sun people, so BRIGHT!. The PSU it comes with is crap, and oh the intershangeable front panels have tabs that break under.0000000463 lb of torque. And it's small inside.COSMOS S FTW

  • lol at cable managment :P

  • why waste your money xD

Build it for half the price.

  • i can build one way better then alienware :P and already have so eat it it only cost $2600

  • or you can have a Q6600, 8GB of RAM, An 8800GT, and a Antec P182 for $1200.00

  • you just got served since every ones doin it xD good job guys

  • Dude WHY? and whatta heck mac pro?

  • Mac Pro is pretty damn good with dual quad cores by default and some sweet graphics options and OS X. I could just build an equal PC for $4000 less, sans OS X.

  • not the same bro

  • sry to say i know this is old but that is shit...

my grandma comp i bought her smokes that..... and that mother board does not have enough open ports

  • it wasn't shit in 2006.

  • try to use asus crosshair instead of A8N, you will be suprised what more it is

  • hahaha pretty old, but nice for it's time

  • HeyZ MaN ... this aint the ultimate computer ... you'll have to see mine to learn what an ultimate computer means FOOL :> ...

  • look at the date, this is two full years old.

  • For 2006 that owns but the trick is to buy your computer of that time and then save up to keep up with the times!LOL

  • Yes, the upgrade is UC4...

  • Nice, how much did it cost altogether?

  • Back then, about 2 grand. Now it would probably be way less.

  • Nice sweet computer even though you get outdated fast like going down the sled unless your rich to keep up.

  • Hey.. for a 2006 rig thats pretty damm fine, gd job guys

  • finally somebody who takes date into account. Thanks :)

  • deal with it, its like two years old.

  • i think hes jealous

  • i think hes jealous

  • yeah, for '06 this is like the ultimate...although right now it is kinda sucky( ddr ram is obsolete to ddr2 and ddr3, and also i have quad core and dual graphics cards of a better quality)But, like I said, for '06 this is a beast and is beat only by something with dual 7950 gx2's. (even those kinda suck now)

  • weren't raptor drives around then too?

  • I'm not made out of money...

  • pretty good for 2006.

  • Arianet 1GB PC2-6400 x2

    Jetway M26GT3-SVP nForce 405 - Socket AM2
