  • you are incrediblleeee!!!!!

  • I love the eastern school. I am soo alone in my area as I am the only bassist from the eastern school and all my peers are from the fluffy french/english school and while pretty, sound like celli instead of basso

  • Браво!!!

  • is the pianist wearing a sweatshirt? lol. really quality bass playing, love the vibrato and the interpretation, even if its a little faster than a lot of people play it.

  • the start.......why is the piano seems to be rushing?

  • Great.

  • I really enjoy this one - no boring, slow tempo, warm sound, well pitched and healthy vibrato, not cow singing

    Really I like it!

  • its too fast in my opinion.

  • @Lumify That's the Russian Conservatory for you. I study with a Russian teacher in the states. He went to the same school that this is at. That's how they play.

  • the pianist, not so much

  • sooo good!

  • Great!! ;)

  • Fabulous. Bravo. No neurotic new school conceptualizing, no weird body language. Just solid old school playing brought up to the highest level and incredible musical intuition. Love the cadences.

  • Thank you for Inspiring me. I hope to play it this well someday :)

  • Only in the final part there's something, but a beautiful performance.

  • just 3 names from bad italians bassplayers..why can't you say that here if in italians boards you say to much shit about foreings bassplayers??

  • hahahaha !! I just love when the dwarves criticizing to the giants...

  • very good

  • Bravo, very good. (In Tema-after introduction- it will be better with more humility, because the passion will come!)

  • Has to be one of the best, if not the best double bass performance I have heard. The intonation is just impecable and the care over the timing is wonderful. At last, there is someone who lets the music breathe.

  • Es la mejor interpretación de este concierto que he escuchado. Bravo

This is the best performance than I have listened. Bravo

  • WOW!

  • lovely; very dramatic and passionate without being overdone, sappy and out of time.

  • Great!!!!! Finally some passion!!! Really great!!

  • One of the best interpretation i've ever heard.... not drama-mama as well.

  • Slap it, Man! :D Greeat!

  • good stuff

  • Really quite great. One of the best I have ever heard. Musicality, perhaps the most important thing in solo playing, is simply astounding. Spine-tingling in spots. Fantastic. A little too much into the string in spots, but overall the best Kouss-kouss on the Tube.

  • Fenominal musicality, and great virtuosity on the bass.

    Bravo.

  • Wow. That has to be the most awesome lumberjack-manly performance of this piece I've seen. Wonderfully done. I suddenly feel compelled to go chop down a tree with my bare hands before the next time I play this.

  • very very good

  • that was amazing

  • What a huge sound

  • I like this interpretation. Good video
