Just to let everybody know, I understand your concern on these videos. They were a project for a class I teach. Students research topics and create educational videos. Please understand that these were critiqued and graded accordingly, but I appreciate the feedback.
Don't raise it that much. Just a bit above shoulder level will do, going further aren't going to improve the shoulder muscles.
And why such a low weight. You shouldn't use a heavy weight but this is the other end. A couple kilo's/lbs should work better without creating the big muscles which you are proably try to avoid.

fyi you dont want to raise your arms above your shoulder on these drills, it will damage you rotator cuff as opposed to help it

True, also raising it above your shoulders makes you use your upper back muscles instead of your shoulders.
