Was the mom rescued from a puppy mill? I'm just curious as the dad of these cuties has to be a red dachshund, which can't be a coincidence. They are too adorable! Thank you for helping all these dachshunds, both young and old! My family has has 2 dachshunds: Gretchen was a red short-haired mini (1980ish-1993 adopted from the Human Society) and Cassie was a bl&t mini (adopted at 6mo from her owner for a better life). We just lost Cassie on 2/4/10 at 16 1/4 years old! She is very missed!

@mindy573 I don't think it was a puppy mill of sorts. I don't remember the details. I do know that there were 6 puppies. Two had already been adopted out by the time I got around to taking photos and video. I'm so sorry about Cassie. Sounds like she had a great life thanks to you! :) It's impossible not to love these little dogs.
