The Kinect is awesome! Everyone talks about how buggy it is well I have one and I couldn't be happier. If your not a lazy fat ass than you will like the Kinect.

@tyberzann00 I bought a 360 for forza 4. I didnt want Kinect but my wife was interested so i got the 250 gig bundle. I thought kinect was retarded...until we played around with it. It really is amazing. Its fun. And i have used it sitting down as well. I only plan on using the head tracking in forza 4 with kinect.... its not for everyone, but if you get the chance to try it then try it and you may find some fun and use in it after all.
Doesn't this steal the reality from games rather than enhance it. We can drive in real life, but with a steering wheel. Surely a steering wheel controller, with pedals, is more realistic than this.
IMO, the little info tags on the car is just pointless. They're just trying to look flashy, and doesn't add anything to the gameplay.
P.S. I doubt he's playing for real, most videos I've seen of kinect are either faked (which begs the question "why does it need to be faked"), or have gone wrong.

ok... im both a ps3 and 360 fan, but u know something, if history has shown us something it's that it repeats itself. when i look at this i feel like im looking at the eye toy. i had the eyetoy myself and i played it and enjoyed it, but the fun was short and didn't last long. i see the same thing happening w/ the kinect. Halo 3 has repetitive and a plain story that is not very good. So does LittleBIGPlanet. But LittleBIGPlanet has a longer single player and its gameplay is not repetitive because they throw different puzzles and types of obstacles at you.

Halo 3 = average online, sure it has forge and halo theater but the only thing that is really part of online is forge since you can play online on the levels people editted with forge. @aikidoman23 In Forza 3, you can "showcase" them, which just means the camera pans around and looks at the car at different angles, but no, you can't check out the interior other than while using the in-car view while racing.
i own both of the systems but I hardly play games on PS3, not cuz of the unmatched online play but due to the joystick not being as comfortable than that of 360.

Personally, graphics are good as far as playing the game is also fun. There is a reason why Wii only gets sold due to the playability of its games. Also a lot of Exclusives are now appearing on Xbox, Metal Gear is one example.

I dont want to spin my head around all the time while racing or jog on the spot to run in an action game or flail my arms around if im playing an adventure game or something. Playing racing game, a real gamer would buy a force feedback racing wheel with and fix it to a racing seat / frame. Playing with kinetic or move just feels awkward. And I hate any, even a tiny little bit, of latency that's not unusual for motion sensing control when playing racing games that require precision.

@joseluisrg Automatic transmission would not require you to change gears...FAIL. You still have the option to use your controller for racing but you can use KINECT for scrolling, tuning and other things like what they showed; looking at your beast of a car.
This is just a tech demo of what can be done with Forza using Kinect, this is not how the next game would be, also don't you think that is dumb to make people pay $150 for a peripheral to play a game? obviously you would be able to play with the controller or the wheel, the most probable thing is that they are going to implement head-tracking and nothing more.
Be better if I could still use my £320 fanatec Porsche 911 turbo s steering wheel but use kinetic to allow me to still look around the car with my head while I'm driving that would be awesome. Maybe you can use steering wheel and kinetic combined hope so

@Craig1839 You sit, you still use a controller for the racing. (KINECT for driving is optional) It will be used for stuff like tuning, scrolling in menus, and of course; voice command. So when you have to pee, you simply say "pause."

Okay then... Watch a bluray movie and compare it to any 1080p video on 360... PS3 wins... Play the exclusives that have the best graphics on that console. For PS3... Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, God of War 3, Heavy Rain. For XBox 360... Gears of War 2 and whatever other games there are... PS3 games show a big difference in terms of graphics. No 360 game has come close to even Killzone 2 yet but PS3 has games that look better then it.

The yellow light can be fixed moron... Most of the time there is a yellow light you just leave the PS3 off for a while and let it cool down and then its fine... Yellow light means too hot and it will automatically turn off but the 360 doesn't have that feature which is why it burns to death. The new 360 JUST came out MORON. Kinect doen't note my reactions very fast.
for example: i lift my arm up and Kinect does it 1,5sec later.
To have a good gaming experience you need a response time of 5 or 2ms.

@tyberzann00 I bought a 360 for forza 4. I didnt want Kinect but my wife was interested so i got the 250 gig bundle. I thought kinect was retarded...until we played around with it. It really is amazing. Its fun. And i have used it sitting down as well. I only plan on using the head tracking in forza 4 with kinect.... its not for everyone, but if you get the chance to try it then try it and you may find some fun and use in it after all.

Doesn't this steal the reality from games rather than enhance it. We can drive in real life, but with a steering wheel. Surely a steering wheel controller, with pedals, is more realistic than this.
IMO, the little info tags on the car is just pointless. They're just trying to look flashy, and doesn't add anything to the gameplay.
P.S. I doubt he's playing for real, most videos I've seen of kinect are either faked (which begs the question "why does it need to be faked"), or have gone wrong.

this is staged, hes not using his foot for the gas or brakes, tho the car is speeding up and slowing down, and at one point the car turns before he does. everything microsoft shows looks perfect, while footage from outside people demoing it looks extremely buggy

There is a difference between opinions and facts.
Halo 3 has repetitive and a plain story that is not very good. So does LittleBIGPlanet. But LittleBIGPlanet has a longer single player and its gameplay is not repetitive because they throw different puzzles and types of obstacles at you.
None of my replies are worthless since they look at things realistically. Which is what people need to learn how to do...

Halo 3 = average online, sure it has forge and halo theater but the only thing that is really part of online is forge since you can play online on the levels people editted with forge. I love how you judged LittleBIGPlanet which has over 2 millions of CREATED levels and praised forge! FANBOY. @aikidoman23 In Forza 3, you can "showcase" them, which just means the camera pans around and looks at the car at different angles, but no, you can't check out the interior other than while using the in-car view while racing.

i own both of the systems but I hardly play games on PS3, not cuz of the unmatched online play but due to the joystick not being as comfortable than that of 360.
Don't get me wrong guys. I hope PS3 pick up soon as it has a great potential as seen in Uncharted 2.
Personally, graphics are good as far as playing the game is also fun. There is a reason why Wii only gets sold due to the playability of its games. Also a lot of Exclusives are now appearing on Xbox, Metal Gear is one example.

Hooray for pointless features. Motion controls ruin the gaming experience. I play games to relax, have a sit down and enjoy myself. I dont want to spin my head around all the time while racing or jog on the spot to run in an action game or flail my arms around if im playing an adventure game or something. Playing racing game, a real gamer would buy a force feedback racing wheel with and fix it to a racing seat / frame. Playing with kinetic or move just feels awkward. And I hate any, even a tiny little bit, of latency that's not unusual for motion sensing control when playing racing games that require precision.

This is just a tech demo of what can be done with Forza using Kinect, this is not how the next game would be, also don't you think that is dumb to make people pay $150 for a peripheral to play a game? obviously you would be able to play with the controller or the wheel, the most probable thing is that they are going to implement head-tracking and nothing more.

I say, for a 360 game, it's leading other 360 games. As for the industry, forza 3 is last in the pack. Grid and dirt, have done better with simulation than forza 3. My opinion.

Okay then... Watch a bluray movie and compare it to any 1080p video on 360... PS3 wins... Play the exclusives that have the best graphics on that console. For PS3... Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, God of War 3, Heavy Rain. For XBox 360... Gears of War 2 and whatever other games there are... PS3 games show a big difference in terms of graphics. No 360 game has come close to even Killzone 2 yet but PS3 has games that look better then it.

The yellow light can be fixed moron... Most of the time there is a yellow light you just leave the PS3 off for a while and let it cool down and then its fine... Yellow light means too hot and it will automatically turn off but the 360 doesn't have that feature which is why it burns to death. The new 360 JUST came out MORON. 2.atleast you don't have to pay for repairing your xbox unlike playstation where you have to pay 50 euro's.
reazlly i'd rather have a console for actual gaming fun along with a far better online community then an overpriced blu-ray system.

The PS3 is still the best Blu-ray player on the market and has always been considered the best deal and has been far cheaper then most of the others for years! Lol. Oh so what huge library of different games does 360 have? PS3 has LittleBIGPlanet, Gran Turismo 5, Resistance 1 & 2, Uncharted 1 & 2, Killzone 2, Motorstorm 1 & 2, Warhawk, God of War III, Metal Gear Solid 4, and much more.

Games of those that suck. Halo 3, Halo Wars, ODST, Gears 1 and 2, banjo kazooie, left 4 dead 1 and 2, crackdown 1, dead or alive 4, fable 2, lost oddysey, and we will wait and see til the sequels to the sucky games are not sucky.
Games that are also on PC(so they aren't exclusive). Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Metro 2033, Fable 3, Sniper Ghost Warrior, Tropico 3, and Gears 1.

@edgeofsins Really? as far as i know most of these exclusives got a higher metacritic score then the ps3 exclusives, just because they are 360 doesn't mean they suck. Besides the pc is an computer OSX system not a home video console.
2nd atleast i have the balls to say when a game is good but when you see a 360 exlcusive it suddenly sucks also shadow complex and limbo might be downloadable but again it doesn't mean it sucks. Your the pathetic one that just blindly like every ps3 exlusive.
