  • JJ Abrams' Star Trek is not Star Trek. It's something else. And I don't like it.

  • Priceless ending! Weasley is back so he can be killed again and again!

  • Captain? . . . Pause. . . NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • I never paid attention to Star Trek till the JJ Abrams movie came out.

  • You fanboys need to stfu. I like the Star Trek genre too but not everyone shares your like of it. So in other words, you get butthurt whenever someone dislikes something you like. And like it or not Star Trek 2009 was a good movie.

  • 0:45 what tng episode is that? please someone tell me!

    1:09, what episode is that!

  • @TheMeanConservative 1:09 is actually from the series enterprise and 0:45 is from an episode i for got the name of but he is captured and another picard replaces him on the enterprise....

  • I'm pretty sure the new Star Trek's timeline didn't destroy everything that happened after Enterprise.

  • @RGDcommentnode THANK YOU. It's just an alternate universe created by time travel.

  • 2:35 IS THE BEST! Star Trek belongs to it's fans you jack***!

  • Hey everyone, remember that scene in Star Trek Generations, right after Picard found out his whole family got killed in a fire? Riker stormed up to Picard on the bridge, in front of the whole crew, and was like, "Your whole family got killed? You're nothing but a French faggot, JEAN LUC!" and then bitch slapped him. Piard sulked off the bridge, knowing it was true, and then everyone agreed it was Riker's turn to be captain? No, that didn't happen in the movie?

    Because it's stupid as FUCK!

  • GeneralGin, which episode is it where all those Datas are putting that object in to the pillar of light? I want to watch it again, because I don't remember it.

  • Why the FUCK did they make that new Star Trek?! It was so FUCKING WANK!

  • Good job at restoring the timeline General!

  • My god

  • i sorry he said he was never a star trek fan total slap in the face

  • @randomperson1701 Yeah i mean seriously, why choose someone to make a film that has such a loyal following that didn't even like star trek in the first place. The latest star Trek film is the only one i dont like.

  • if he was never much of a star trek fan why did he direct a star trek movie kind of a slap in the face

  • huh? where'd the multiple data's scene come from?

  • If only...

  • YES!!! The Recut Enterprise crew defeated Abrams and saved Star Trek!!!

  • The Abrams has been defeated, but at a heavy price.

  • Why would allow someone who was never a Star Trek fan to make a Star Trek Movie?

  • They're all just jealous because the new movie was so damn good! :P

  • Which TNG episode is the footage at 2:06-2:10 from?

  • @TheCatholicBoat We'll always have Paris - Season 1

  • @TheCatholicBoat It is actually, Home Soil, from season 1.

  • Wesley: Captain

    Picard: NOOOOOOOO!

  • Since when Voyager and TOS and DS9 in TNG??!!

  • Way to go Data!! too bad that didn't really happen in the new movie

  • Telling from the ending, I assume the mental strain involved with his battle against the forces of CONTINUITY IGNORANCE in Star Trek 2009 resutled in Picard's outburst. or maybe he was just being typical Recut Picard?

  • @mairujyat it's actually because Wesley was killed in an earlier Recut, but because the time line was reset he was suddenly alive again. that's why Picard screamed no when he saw him

  • @mairujyat You have no understanding of Star Trek. It was an alternate timeline created by interference from the future of the timeline in TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager.

  • @Colinbakerfan555 Can you not accept that both have their merits? You don't have to like one over the other; just like them both.

  • I wish this really happened.

  • Awesome work man!

  • LOL. They still had Wesley back in the end.

  • Bravo!

  • Abrams! For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee!!!

  • "I find you a pityable man" Perfect JJ Abrams description!

  • Wesly: "Captain?"

    Picard: "Noooooooooooooooo!"

  • @GeneralGrin Ha ha, I like it.

  • I was just thinking about this entire series, and about Picard's words at the end of the TNG episode "Emergence". He says that if the life form was made of the sum of the Enterprise and it's crew's experiences, and those experiences were honorable, then would not the life form be honorable? Watching these proves that if taken out of context, it can actually be quite evil.

  • captain?

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant!! Well done. That one looks like it took a lot of work (with the whole temporal thing)

  • I HATE THE NEW STAR TREK MOVIE TOO. =)

  • i love the jj abrams hate so much

  • Wesley is like a weed.

  • That was just brilliant! Amazing! I would send everyone I know a link to this clip....but only about half of them would understand it! LOL!

  • fire on innocent people!

  • They restored the timeline, but a horrible consequence of that was wesley is back! NOOOO!!!!!

  • Shutup Wesley!

  • Masterpiece!

  • excellent!

  • Maybe Picard's madness will disappear along with the J.J.... never know

  • Great ending.

Hey, I would take Lt. Crusher at tactical in exchange for erasing Abrams and his abomination from time.

  • The only thing funnier than this video is the fanboy rage in the comments

  • Comment removed

  • The J.J. has been vanquished! Huzzah for the YouTubekeep!

  • damn you Wesley Crusher!

  • LOVE IT.

  • yay they restored the time line BUT... Wesly is still there lolz

  • This edit seems a bit disjointed to me, but it's still funny.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • @TheCommanderNZ The best part!!

  • @TheCommanderNZ LMAO

  • Ending is jokes!!!

    Two thumbs up!!

    BRAVO!!!

  • I had the exact same reaction as Picard when I saw Wesley again.

  • Lmao, loved how you included the other Star Trek series at the start! I loved the new film when I first saw it, but then I started watching TNG, DS9 and Voyager, and I didn't like it any more. Love what you did with jj! =)

  • Yet another brilliant edit. Hee-larious.

  • One loose end left...

  • What I don't understand is how the Star Wars prequels are almost universally panned for dumbing down the franchise, selling out to the lowest common denominator, relying too heavily on CGI, and having poorly-written scenes of flat exposition that make no sense, and then "Star Trek 2009" finds almost universal praise and acceptance. HOW?!?!?!?

  • @SothManigan Wesly of course.

  • @SothManigan The only theory I can offer is that the new Trek film didn't have Jar Jar. Oh... Nevermind. I just realized what Abram's "J.J." stands for....

  • @SothManigan I hate the new Star Trek.

  • @SothManigan

because its a good movie. Kill yourself.

  • @MozTS haha, the movie had no strength, no spine, and no story. It was all just mindless old overused quotes and commercials, unrealistic physics, and teen troubles raped by one lame effect after another.

When I go to the toilet and take a dump, I can improvise better and more exciting scenarios to the sound of my own shit hitting the surface of the water in the bowl, lol :p

If you did enjoy the movie it is unlikely that you enjoy Star Trek though, as they are worlds apart.

  • @MozTS He has the right to hate it. You're an idiot.

  • @SothManigan Because expectations for Star Trek had been dropping from the end of TNG... DS9 may have been a good show (from season 3 onward) and VOY/ENT sent them through the floor.

Not to mention Star Trek XI was... well, a reboot. It was a big dumb action film that pretty much went "Yup, we're straight up straddling continuity and raping it - WHATCHA GONNA DO?!" But you know... as a big dumb action film it worked. The Star Wars Prequels were big and dumb but they made no sense.

  • @ProphetTenebrae I'm just curious, why does everybody hate on VOY? To me it was more hit or miss than a totally bad series. Some of the episodes were awesome, like the Q who wanted to kill himself or the one with The Void or the planet with the fast timeline that made Voyager its history. A lot of them were just bloody awful like Threshold and Drive and Alice.

  • @gussiejives 500 characters isn't really enough to explain it well but... I think it can be summed up with taking TNG - which had already run its course - removed all the likeable and familiar characters from it and then just put the crew away from everything Trek had spent so long establishing.

Sure, there were good episodes but stuff like running the Borg into the ground and Janeway's Mary Sue powers made for a show that a lot of people hated. Would that I could go on at greater length.

  • @ProphetTenebrae Nah, I can see what you're saying. A lot of the characters were just more irritating versions of their TNG counterparts, like Neelix and Kim. But I did enjoy the way Paris, Seven and the Doctor grew as characters over the series. The Doctor in particular had some good episodes.

Sadly there's always the occasional Threshold that throws a wrench into the works. Yes, warp 10 causes Paris and Janeway to turn into lizards and have sex with each other. Well done, Voyager.

  • @gussiejives I think the Doctor's growth as a character was by far the best - but then they toss in some episodes like "Virtuoso", "Renaissance Man" and "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy" which kind of piss all over it.

Threshold is probably not just the worst Voyager episode there ever was but one of the worst (if not THE worst) Star Trek episode and in terms of TV... it's probably pretty high on the list too.

  • @SothManigan Well the idea was that Star Trek 2009 had at the very least a coherent storyline and some actual character conflict in it. I'll be up front, I enjoyed ST 2009, even if the cost was the timeline of the rest of the franchise.

  • @SothManigan i thought most people hated ST 2009?,

the only people who liked it were not hardcore trek fans.

besides i was never a fan of the original. cheap sixties sets.

  • @MrXclio The TOS was the best series of em all. I don't think that most trekkies would say TNG was better.

  • @SothManigan It's because Star Trek 2009 didn't feature a cartoon rabbit or Anakin Skywalker getting his face melted. Coming up next: Star Wars recuts.

  • @SothManigan

Hollywood hates Lucas for being a one trick pony con man, whereas they love Abrams for being a slightly better two trick pony con man.

  • @SothManigan

Let me see if I can explain this. The SW prequels featured several bad actors, one of which was a main character. ST09 did not. SW had idiotic humor. ST didn't. SW had serious misunderstandings of its own characters' arcs. ST didn't. SW did not pay homage to its predecesors but rather tried to exploit them. ST did do the former and not the latter. Is that a good enough explanation for you?

  • @stitch99 No, the only thing Star Trek '09 has is a complete lack of understanding for the universe Gene Rodenberry created

The new Star Trek is related to the other movies and series in name alone, almost everything was changed to make it fit in with the new idea of science fiction as being all about action and nothing to do with the characters and their development or actual real life issues

  • @SothManigan During Star Trek 2009, I threw my drink at the screen and left the theatre right after that ridiculous monster chase scene.

  • @ddpsp And that scene and its resolution are lifted wholesale from the Phantom Menace.

    "There's always a bigger fish."

  • I actually enjoyed the movie and thought it was a fine modern adaptation of classic Star Trek. It did the right thing by focusing on the characters, adapted some entertaining special effects, and had a well picked cast.

There have been plenty of outright terrible Star Trek films. This new one isn't one of them.

  • @CyberGlitch While I totally agree with you I can still appreciate the humour. And I'm sure JJ Abrams has big enough shoulders to take it, too. Trek won't be his last movie and he'll go on to do other things. But to many he'll always be to Trek what Pontius Pilot was to Christ.

  • @spacecowboy5000

Yes, I still found this edit hilarious!

  • Fucking Abrams. I hate that movie. I simply can't understand how so many people think it's awesome.

  • : )

  • You Gotta Put That AssHole From "Mr. Belvedere"(80's Show) Into StarTrek SomeHow.... Splice Him Up With Scotty And Have Him Complain About "Wesley".... YOU GOTTA!!!

  • JJ IS A CUNT! There, I SAID it! His "Trek" movie SUCKS BALLS!

  • I've putting this in my favourites. This is a work of genius. If I wore a hat I would take it off to you. lol

  • Future Guy was JJ Abrams - IT ALL MAKES SENSE!

  • Hey generalgrin.. You should make this a weekend thing like release episodes every friday-sunday giving you the week to work on the episodes.

  • If some Hollywood-producers in the future, will give Next Gen the "JJ Abrams"-treatment, they MUST DEFINITELY ERASE WESLEY!

  • Do you not have a day job? How do you manage to make so many of these so quickly?

  • Finally justice. JJ meets his doom!

  • THEY KILLED JJ!

Can we not simply kill Wesley by leaving him to die at the hands of the borg?

  • Wesley chief of securtiy HAHA!!

  • Trust Data to save the day as always! Excellent episode!

  • Let's hope we've seen the last of JJ! before he can make any more films and change history again. And Wesley just keeps coming back, lol
