i had a mouse in my apt one time that was really good at licking all the peanut butter off the trap without setting off the trap. Time and time again he'd eat the peanut butter and the trap wouldn't go off. It got to the point where I was about to get a no kill trap and keep him as a pet since he obviously had some skills. It was like he was a genius mouse or something. But sadly the day I was going to go get the no kill trap was the day his skills ran out and he set off trap and was killed.
