  • awesome!! :)

  • A black box theatre at a university where there's so many people they have to sit on the floor? THAT'S how it's done. Showing that dreamy dreams can come true.

  • it's so cool to see the early parts of the playwriting process!

  • Thanks so much! This is AMAZING! I would love to see more of this production!

  • Wait, the title says 2000, but the description box says '92. Explain?

  • @supersingerevan The '92 is the NAME of the theater. It was built in 1892. The year is 2000.

  • @usnavi Ok, that makes sense! I figured you didn't start writing In the Heights when you were 12.

  • @usnavi hactually, the Patricelli '92 Theater was originally called Rich Hall and was the University's first stand-alone library building, and its construction was completed in 1868. In 1930, after construction was completed on the new Olin Library, the class of 1892 donated money to have Rich Hall converted into a theater, which is why it is the '92. I think you went to Wes a few years before the "Patricelli" was tacked on as a result of another donation. And here ends the Weshistory. -2ndstage

  • Jajajaja, esto es oro, Miranda. Es genial ver como solía ser el show cuando comenzaste a hacerlo....

    Hay mas clips de estos?

  • Dear Lin, I hope you realize that, for us In The Heights lovers, this footage is more precious than any gold or diamonds you can find on earth - THANK YOU, again! :D

  • PS: Are you filming the movie version yet? Will we be seeing snippets of this at all?

  • @MakeupByLaurenP Universal dropped plans to make the movie. Some sources claimed it was because most bankable latino stars weren't interested in participating in small roles. The silver lining being that let's face it many latin movie stars today don't have the chops to bring this show to life, and when the movie does get made, it will hopefully get made with truly talented people.

  • Love this Lin! =)

  • "en washington heights" is all that survived, haha

  • @lolo1086 And the lei le lo li the piragua guy does! :)

  • Cool!!! Even then you knew what you wanted to do!
