I am sorry you got stuck with someone who did not want to be there. For the record he is not an elevator attendant, those of us who worked at the top had to ride up in car 1. I worked there in 2008 for a few months and miss it to this day

I miss going to St. Louis. I had a chance to go to the arch in 2000 but they was closed due to some work.

That was the 3rd time I had been up to the top. When I was in St. Louis, I probably spent the most time at the City Museum. That place is unbelievable. I'll post some vids of it when I get the chance.

oh, I live in Jefferson City, 2 hours away from St. Louis. I have been up there in the arch 4 times. If you go in the morning it is EMPTY!

Sweet.  My Landscape Architecture studio was there on a trip to study some of the sites around St. Louis. We hit up MOBOT as well. I really like the place. :D

I live 30 mins away from the arch and have never been up there my whole life. Haha. Do your ears pop? That's my reason for not going. Baaad ear problems...

Nah, they don't go fast enough. Ear popping is more severe on a high speed elevator than this.

yeah, they adjust as they go from traveling vertically to horizontally. Certainly a custom solution for a custom situation. Thanks for the comments!
