  • How judgmental! She was just a teenager. What did you expect?

  • aww he's so cute~

  • OMG, Edward is so cute! And the Relationship between Elizabeth an him is very fine. It´s good that the poor Boy had some friends!

  • Poor Mary. She loved her younger siblings, even Elizabeth, whose mother mistreated both her and Catherine of Aragon. The way she prays for Edward's recovery is poignant. Catherine Howard does not come off in any positive way whatsoever, as she is busy having sex with Culpepper while everyone else is worried to death over the very sick prince.

  • What would have happened if Edward lived past 15 and went on to have children? Does anyone have any predictions?

  • @Paramorerocks19

Highly speculative, but I will give it a whirl. First, neither Mary nor Elizabeth would have inherited the throne. Thus, England would have been spared the religious turmoil that took place under Mary (and she would have died as the much loved and martyred daughter of Catherine of Aragon). Elizabeth was not such a great monarch, though she did surround herself with cunning yet capable advisors, so it is possible that England may not have achieved the glory that it did.

  • @telamon2011 Most likely, but weren't Elizabeth and Edward close though? Not just through the show, but in history?

  • @Paramorerocks19 They were quite close indeed.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy So then it was most likely that Edward took his two sisters off of the succession because he was manipulated(since he was very young when he became king) by probably others? But then again, Edward would have probably asked for advice from one of his sisters had he not taken them off since he was so young

  • @Paramorerocks19 Edward had been manipulated by his uncle, Edward Seymour, the Lord Protector. Edward could not rule until his majority. And his uncle told him that Mary could not be queen because she was catholic, unlike them who were protestants, and that Elizabeth was never a princess.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy I see, I mean, what King can rule with his own conscience at such a young age? I don't think Edward was willing to take Mary and Elizabeth off, do you?

  • @Paramorerocks19 I do not think so indeed, he was just a boy manipulated.

  • I love how little Edward is playing with his father's hair. I used to do that too when i was sick

  • When he said my wife is he referring to Jane? If he is that so sweet. Henry is a loving man isn't he.

  • w8...who was having sex with who??? i'm sorry i don't really watch the Tudors c:

  • @EmoHartzz Katherine Howard who was Married to King Henry at the time, is having Sex with Thomas Culpepper one of the king's grooms.

  • @phantomjo does anyone know if the actors who do... intercourse scenes get well... turned on or do they somehow have a way not to?

  • @bh5496 They most prob do, but it's often not very romantic...I mean a load of crew and camera all around you, watching your every moment and facial expressions, criticing every way you say a line...so it's very easy to distract yourself I guess

  • In real life, Elizabeth was 4 years older than Edward. She's portrayed here as a teenager, but if you consider Edward to be around 3 years old, she actually should've been around 7. But any who, I don't watch the Tudors because of the historical accuracy. ;) ;)

  • whys it seem as though he is dead?

  • Awwh you can hear his little Irish accent coming through

    :')

  • Red hair like Henry, yet pale and gentle face like Jane.

  • ew he was doing her up the arse

  • @FrankIeroiscute Actually, I think they are doing more "doggy style" rather than anal penetration. Doggy style is how most mammals have vaginal sex. To the less experienced in the knowledge of various sexual positions, it may seem like anal sex.

  • dward´s sooo cute ^^

  • "Do you want to go play, Edward" - what a good sister.

  • I loved it when they played Jane's death theme 6:30 - 7:02

  • What episode is this?

  • the mans sons sick...and his idiot of a wife is fucking the help..

  • Jane should have been there! Jane should have hold her son, kissed him and hugged him, sung lullabies for him... why did you die, Jane? Your son needs you! The king of England needs you...

  • @TheSweden000 I agree, Edward needed his mother.

  • what episode is this from?

  • The little boy who plays Edward is sooo adorable!!!

  • can't wait to see jonathan with his own children !!!!

  • Thank god he didn't die, otherwise we would have had to go through another 8 wives...

  • Him and Edward are so cute :'(

  • Edward is so adorable!

  • It was sweet how he was carrying edward and waiting by his bedside all night

  • (continued) *worthy of both parties being stoned to death.

Also, keep in mind that for the ancient Jewish culture, "adultery" was defined as sex with anyone you weren't married to. So, even if you weren't married to anyone, you had sex with someone who likewise wasn't married and you were caught, stonings for both.

  • @SugarCane88 In, England you'd lose your head!

  • Regardless of age or circumstance, Katherine is a slut (whores get paid). She may be young, but she is fully capable of choosing whether or not to have sex with anyone other than her husband.

I'm 22-years-old, seeing a 24-year-old and we're planning to marry in 2013 with our virginities intact. Don't put out that "she's young" bull crap.

In centuries before that, it wasn't uncommon for women to be married or betrothed at 14 and in the Jewish society, adultery for men AND women was a crime worth

  • @SugarCane88 I'm sorry, but how many people has Katherine slept with in her marriage to Henry compared to how many people HE'S slept with during his past four marriages? Does the fact that she's a sexual person give anyone the excuse to label her? You're forgetting that she was forced into marriage with a man old enough to be her grandfather and was therefore made into little more than a baby factory meant to be seen and unheard. She had no one but Culpepper to turn to.

  • Katherine is not a whore! She is seventeen, married to a much older man and she has needs that he can not sooth. She falls in love and acts on it as many other women does. She is not a whore!

  • This is kinda considered porn just saying....

  • @8nightlight8 Porn would be like actually showing the coitus. This is more like erotica or softcore.

  • @Nine00 I agree ...that part was too much...Katherine is a real WHORE

  • Despicable! Poor Mary's there, praying her heart and soul out for Edward's recovery, while her step-mother Katherine's is just in her bedchambers, doing it doggy style with that Culpepper mook! The tramp!!

  • @Jakegothicsnake you aint lyin about that LOL:)

  • hes so adorable!!

poor child fighting for his life..whilest his step mothers f..king the help!

  • Katherine's a disgusting tramp.....>_<

  • @Jakegothicsnake If Katherine was a tramp, then what was Henry?

  • @skandargeorgiefan A womanizing putz who didn't really know how to treat women more properly.

  • @skandargeorgiefan a medieval pimp.

  • just imagine if he died, princess mary would be next in line. how scary for her

  • omg i love when edward rubs henrys head soooo cute

  • I would have liked this show WAY more if it hadn't been so heavy on the sex. It just seemed unnecessary.

  • Henry can be a real sweetheart when it comes to his children.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy When he's not condemning them as bastards....

  • @lyamainu True but even when they are bastards, he still cares for them. Of course, if they agree with him, but the scenes with Mary and Elizabeth in season 3 and 4 make me think he loved them dearly.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy Well Henry was a Leo and as much as he was vain, egotistical, he protected and guarded his children which is the natural trait of a leo person.

  • @edemoness Very interesting!

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy Despite what Henry may have been labeled back then he was still a King, a father, and when a situation arose he could be a loving husband..but as with all things he let his ego and selfishness do his thinking.

  • @edemoness that is sad.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy yes it is..at the time of his death he died broke and penniless.

  • @edemoness I pity him. Truly. Even if he did very bad things.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy same here..i felt very sorry for him in season 3 episode 4 when Queen Jane passes away suddenly just the look on his face when he took her hand into his and just balled his eyes out..even if he had told me to leave i would have waited for him right outside her door to make sure he was alright.

  • edward is so cute!

i just want to eat him up!

  • I love how they played Jane Seymour's theme in this scene when Edward survives. He makes me think of Jane Seymour everytime I see him on the series. The little actor is so cute and I think for his young age he did very well.

  • He's missing his two front teeth, so cute!

  • "Yes, if that pleased you Sister" cute ^^

  • Where Katherine and the guy actually doing it for real or what?

  • @videogamer514 Yes, if in real life. If your talking about while shooting that episode, no

  • @RawrGoesRachel then how do they make it look so real?

  • @videogamer514 basically, they cover they're genetalia with skin colored pastie type things and have to actors press against each other so you can't see it. Theres many ways of doing that type of stuff, but they mostly just cover everything

  • oh no! a fever! I bet that was life and death back then.

  • @ASacredSpirit Actually, it was really bad for Edward. He was always sickly, he died young.

  • @ThanatosPhoenix Oh yes, I remember. That was his son that died young.

  • Eoin Murtagh played an adorable Prince Edward, the one that they got to play Edward later in the season (Jake Hathaway) was so dull and boring, if only they could have kept Eoin

  • THe little boy is so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Edward was a nice boy.

I really like him. I wish I was there to give him a hug.

  • I think young Elizabeth looks very much like the portraits of her that can be seen today. :)

  • @mcneeze2 but don't forget Henry turned his back on religion and tradition by having 6 wives so it is possible.

  • i know that henry had a lot of faults but gosh he loves his children :)

  • @lizzibeth93 or at least his male ones.

  • @mothaOmess haha. I agree.

  • Oh god that little boy is such a good actor for his age.

    It was painful to watch Edward like that. ;_;

  • @MsLiew1901tradition states that parents in the time of king henry the VIII are not supposed to go to the child's baptism. Mother's didn't attend because they were still in bed recovering from delivery, and father's didn't attend.

  • WHY was Katherine fucking while her stepson was ill and even Henry was staying up all night keeping an eye on his son ? If she was here, I`d slap her around the face and scream `WHORE!' at her

  • I love Elizabeth's dress!

  • love her dress!

  • Was this bitch cheating on her husband while said husbands son was close to dying?

  • @ZeroMyHero99 Katherine Howard has had lots of boyfriends before and during her marriage to Henry. Her cousin, Anne Boleyn was commited for the same crimes, but she was innocent compared to Katherine Howard.

  • Katherine Howard is my LEAST favorite of all the wives.. >_<

  • @GolfergirlM2K2P I agree!

  • I love how everyone quakes in fear of Henry, and Edward is like hmmm I think I'll play with dad's hair while he sleeps! He is such an angel <3

  • Elizabeth's voice kinda sounds like Anna Popplewell's voice

  • so sweet!! Henry is so sweet to little Edward!!

  • @mcneeze2 Well, he would be since he was a boy. Apparently, Henry missed Elizabeth`s baptism because he was pissed she was not a boy. If Elizabeth was a boy, though, nothing short of his death would stop him from going.

  • Edward is a little angel! <3

  • I've got a new version for the scene where Henry arrives at Windsor.

He enters the room and Elizabeth is by the side of Edward's bed dabbing his forehead. And because Henry is so paranoid about Edward and how he thinks that Elizabeth reinds him of Anne and what she "did" to him, he shouts at Elizabeth and is like, "Get away from him! Do not go near him at all!" Basically he over-reacts and sends her of sobbing.

I think it would do good to have more scenes where it proves of Henry's paranoia

  • Katherine could've shown some concern for Edward. Instead of being at her stepson's bedside, she was having a liaison with Culpepper. Edward could've died!

  • @BoukenCrimson i agree, i believe in real life, she may have been near edward's room or at least sad over his illness, but i think the show may have played it up a little with Katherine's sex scenes.

  • Elizabeth looks nothing like the description, they did a really good job on Mary though.

  • Edward is so cute! Adorable! And so well mannered. How can you say no to that?

  • Gah, Edward is so precious!

  • Does anyone know what Elizabeth is saying in Latin? Knowing the Tudors, it's probably some really unsubtle foreshadowing.

  • @ladycontrary725 Not really. She's saying "You, boy, are a student to me" (a very literal translation). Just some basic grammar.

  • Little Edward has to be one of the cutest little boys I have ever seen!

  • I can't help but feel sorry for Katherine telling Henry there's no sign of pregnancy. She had no control over it yet still had to take the blame like Henry's other wives.

  • For Henry, it must have been like watching Jane before she died, when she had a fever :( so saad.

  • gah she stole Anne's umbrella!

  • @Fadingsmilez That's a parasol.

  • edward is too cute when he rubs henry's hair like that !

  • edward is so cute :)

  • I love little Edward! He is utterly adorable! Katherine Howard not so much. She made me want to whap her over the head during this.

  • Which episode does this happen in? And when do they tell Henry that Edward is ill?

  • @TheStarSorceress It is from S04E04... Henry learnt abt Edward's sickness in the latter half of the episode

  • @CallXenaWarrior yes right :) the poor guy who had to tell him.. Henry was already pissed about something and then that.

  • Elizabeth reminds me of Susan from Narnia. I think it's the way she acts and behaves.

  • @XkizzmoiX - I actually thought it was the same actress....

  • @XkizzmoiX yeah I can totally see that especially in the first scene

  • @XkizzmoiX i think it's her accent :)

  • @XkizzmoiX That's who she reminds me of. xD I saw this and was reminded of someone, but couldn't think of who until I read your comment!

  • poor little guy. He is so cute

  • Katherine's a whore!

  • @PatriciaGarciaSarion I totally agree. I liked all of Henry's women accept from the last two ones. It's so sweet how Mary prays for her brother. She was such a loving caring sister. I can't believe she was a cruel as historians say. She has not deserved the name Bloddy Mary.

  • @Schaetzchen95 She had almost 300 people killed because they would not follow the Catholic faith what would you have people call her?

  • @Raemoth75 Henry killed many, many more people than she did. I think it is just because she is a woman that people have vilified her character. But I do not believe that she was cruel either.

  • @LunaHanayuki08 henry was longer on the trown then her, mary was only on it for 5 years, henry for nearly 40 years, its not hard to kill more people if you have 35 years longer to do it

  • @xloisx1 Uh, I knew that. I was just saying how unfair it was that Mary was labeled as one of the most evil women in history, when her father was a damn tyrant. He killed more people, and sent his own wives to the block. He even killed children. But thanks for you input.

  • @Raemoth75 all the kings and queens in XVI and XVII centuries ( CATHOLICS OR PROTESTANTS) did the same..Eizabeth killed 4000 catholics irish and 1000 catholichs english , of course in name of "state security"..that is not BLOODY? NOO IS POLITICS...COME ON!

  • @Schaetzchen95 you are basing that on something you have seen in the tudors, i loved the tudors but it really isnt based on facts, i guess we will never know how all of them really where in real life but you really shoudnt believe what the tudors show, ofcourse its true that he killed anne boleyn, and that he treated Katherine like that but they have barely information about how they lived their lives and how they thought about certain things

  • @xloisx1 It's just my personal opinion and that doesn't have to be based on facts. And refering to Henry's wifes : I ment his wifes on the show (!) and how they appear to me. I know that TheTudors isn't right in everything it shows but IT IS BASED ON FACTS. Not everything but most of it. Some things were changes for the drama of the series. But all in all it is true. Of course you can't say that their dialogues really happened like it is shown but they maybe happened very similar to this.

  • @Schaetzchen95 you can better say that they have a few real facts and that the rest is made up, are you really not a bad person when you kill people because of their religion? that you wanted to kill your own sister because you are so paranoid that shes conspiring a complot against you, a bad person is maybe a wrong word but she was pretty crewed up and that was probally because of how she was treated when she was younger but still the blood of thousands of innocent people are on her hands

  • @xloisx1 ok, that's true. but you have to see that religion and family played a different role in these times, especially when you were King or Queen. The religion was maybe the most important thing for in the people in those times. they did everything to sattisfy their god and the priests and the pope (or what they thought would sattisfy them). for us family is most important but those people back then married their daughters against their will, killed their wifes and so on.

  • @Schaetzchen95 and you are right about that but their is also an example of how it could be differently and that was the way elizabeth (annes daughter) ruled her country and i know those times where cruell but i jus cant justify her behavior, their where kings and queens before an after her that did a much better job then her

  • @xloisx1 I did not say, Mary was a good Queen. That thing with bringing back the catholic faith was nonsens, but I think her methods were the same as the methods of others. If you look to the eastern realms at that time, they were cruel as well. And of course others did a better job, espacially elizabeth. And justification is something else, because it depends also on personal moral oriantations.

  • @Schaetzchen95 i know how it was back then but i don think it makes it better just because others did it also, i dont know and never will know mary so i dont really judge her but ofcourse everyone including me will have an opinion about her but really how is right in this matter, i dont know

  • @PatriciaGarciaSarion Yes the charges that were brought against her are true she did commit adultery. Henry at the time of her marriage was old in that time he also weighed about 300lbs and had an ulcerous leg she did not find him attractive at all. He had a hard time bedding her.

  • @PatriciaGarciaSarion IKR! While poor edward was sick instead of her being worried and going to see him shes to busy rolling around in the sack with thomas!

  • No she wasn't she was a child put into a life that she knew nothing about she was treated like a whore.

  • @PatriciaGarciaSarion No, a whore gets paid. Katherine's more of a slut or an adulteress.

  • @PatriciaGarciaSarion Henry WAS the whore, Katherine was only 14 to16 (at most) years old, nobody gave a damn about her until a king took interest. Please take a look at the true history of Katherine, the portrayal in the Tudor show of her was negative of her an not factual on base of the REAL Katherine!.

  • @PatriciaGarciaSarion What makes her more of a whore than Henry? You should remember that she was young and actually didn't want to marry Henry, but didn't have a choice. She didn't really have anyone to turn to but Culpepper in her lonely life as queen, as she is used as little more as a doll and a bearer of children with. In her marriage to the king, she's only slept with Culpepper when Henry's slept with...how many other women in his past four marriages other than his wives?

  • @PatriciaGarciaSarion no she isnt!!!

  • Absolutely heartbreaking watching Henry cry :(

  • He is so cute...such a sweet boy
