I fucking hated this program... I mean, well done Alex for conducting an incredibly difficult auchestra at 16 when your partially deaf, but this documentry wouldn't of been made if he didn't have CF.. Ok, all of the treatment and medical care needed to keep him as healthy as possible is time consuming, but in no way to having Cystic Fibrosis reduce your ability to conduct an auchestra. The kid is just fucking playing on it! I have CF, but I'd rather not have it then boast about it on TV!
this boy makes me view life differently.....how lucky i am.....hee is such a fighter ....how the hell does he stay so possitive all the time the boy i amazing he inspires me,,,,he is a living legend bless him
I watched this full documentary yesterday, it's so sad, the poor boy. He has an amazing personality, he's cute, funny and talented and even though he's like this, he still lives life to the fullest.
For anyone that would like to see the full documentary in the UK, it is being repeated on Christmas Day 2008 (Channel 4) at 6.15pm.
Alex Stobbs is currently trying to raise money to put on a performance of Bach's Matthew Passion in the Cadogan Hall, London in April 2009. It is hoped that it will raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.
For all German viewers: This Documentation will be aired on RTL II, Thuesday, first of April, 22.15. Don't miss it!
I watched this on the tv box tonight, that lad is so talented and is so nice & happy. He has so much medicine to take. Christ, I moan when I have to take my hayfever tablets.
I saw this for the first time this week! It is SO inspiring and amazing. I have my DVR all set to record the new doc too. He is just brilliant. :)
