@pfrogner y'know, I almost said something in the description about that. Once I played it back, the Kalas do sound really good. Out in front of the uke it's different. I had to do some more chili related videos to make use of the chili logo. I made it for the Leg Meat Chili video, and it was a lot of work for a few seconds of video.
very cool designs. btw, my Makala dolphin stays in tune and has pretty decent volume [ strung w/ worth concert clears] you might try them, they don't have that annoying scratchy sound aquilas do.

They actually both sound pretty good, and the chili pepper one really pops. Very nice review. I noticed you changed your "handle" for this video :)

NEW Aquilas? Did they discontinue the old nylgut? Great review! Note that the gecko is a bit slimmer than the dolphin, but gives as much sound.

@UKISOCIETY I don't know. The last I got, the package said "New Nylgut". The package was a darker color too.
