hi, i have dwarf blue gourami's, sparkling gouramis, a diamond tetra and some blue neon tetras with my blue gouramis. they all get along brilliantly you could put any of them in with your blue tets
I 've got 9 blue tetras and 7 harlequin rasboras as well as some amano shrimps.
Considering your litres, i would recommend you not to add more fishes as they will not live normally in a limited space like yours.Besides tetras are school fish, so other fishes will prevent them from moving into schools which is the most unique characteristic of them.
However, you could surely add some amano shrimps (3-4 would be ok i think).100% tested
Thank you for your concern. The 'Blues' were recommended as starter fish for this very tank. However I have recently (2 days ago) transported them to a larger tank for their benefit. I found they were not best suited to a smaller tank despite the advice. I have already got various shrimp and some Glowlight Danios plus some changes in the planting. I'll put a new video up here soon.
I think its very good. You have to buy a heater as it doesn't come with one, but that is all. The filter is adequate so long as you don't over stock the tank but you can upgrade it for £15 or so as I have. One drawback is that the glass lid has 2 hand/feeding holes. The lamp covers one but the other is open & I have had a couple of fish jump through it (1 Cory & 1 Blue Tetra)! Luckily I was there at the time to return them. It is very easy to clean & maintain. Substrate is gravel & aqua soil.

Hi, I'm thinking of getting one of these tanks, they look really nice and clear. Are they good? Easy to keep/maintain?
What substrate do you use in there?
Thanks:D
