To those who think this is impossible, I just watched another video that showed someone doing it with a video displayed for the class.  It clearly went into the trachea, not the esophagus. It can be done. You can't tell with this video though.

Supralaryngeal airway= above the entrance to the vocal cords. Not in trachea. SLA's sit above the cords.
