I remember in blue I never knew flash lit up caves so I ran around in the dark, had that place memorized.

@Solereaper21 you also remember in gen 1 all of the walls were like...highlighted, so it was really easy to tell where you were just based on the wall formations.

I would believe you if you said you could navigate through that cave in the dark. I used to be able to as well.
