  • Smells like Led Zeppelin!!!!

  • John Sykes blows vandenberg out of the water..!!!

  • Coverdale is great, but he SOOOO wants to be Robert Plant

  • Perhaps Vandenburg should stick to playing keyboards, awful stuff John Sykes rules Forever !

  • 7:30 take this!

  • Man...lotta posin' going on....The 80's were such a great time.

  • Awful, muddy version. Only Sykes can do this right.

  • Without John Sykes this album would have never existed.

  • Is Rudy Sarzo playing with them??? I can't tell...

  • rocknroll the bastard son of the blues long live rock

  • oooh baby....neeeed your love...

  • you people and your Plant obs............DC is nothing like Plant. Because he screams? Please........DC made the 80's rock what is was in the MTV era.....And he still nails it now.

  • I would love to be in the middle of a David and Rudy sandwich!

  • @MediaBoyz09 hey asshole, i would be very surprised if you are a singer and have that poor conception about how to sing using your nose...the breathing technique makes you sing louder but not reaching higher notes...you stupid sucker...How the hell do you think Mark Slaughter, Blackie Lawless or Tom Kiefer from Cinderella reach high notes???? eat that fucking weirdo.

  • shit man nobody will ever play it as close as Sykes did it, or keeps on playing it

  • @karce42 that's Vivian playing here with Whitesnake right? Who was playing that crap solo on Dio live Rainbow in the Dark posted on Tube? Not Vivian. He couldn't screw up that solo, if he tried. He wrote it!

  • It is vadenberg. Sykes left before the tour.

  • I think it's Vandenberg not Sykes on guitar. Sykes (and the rest of the band) were kicked before the release of the 1987 album.

  • I would crawl on my hands and knees if Coverdale said, "over here babe".

  • what a lineup. viv campbell and john sykes. can it get any better?

  • to exelentation. that was f'''' hard to write:-) sick and tired of all those people who say david coverdale is a copycat. who the hell is he copying?? robert plant?? come on. let those nimrods think that. they have no clue...

  • @karce42 Hello... This song is a RIPOFF of Black Dog (0.11), Good Times Bad Times (0.57) and Whole Lotta Love (2.01) That's why he's called "David Coverversion"

  • @Graffitti74 Well, if we're going to go down that road, you could argue "Black Dog" got its arrangement from Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well", and Jonesy also acknowledged "Black Dog's" main riff from was inspired from a song called "Electric Mud" by Muddy Waters. There's no such thing as a virgin birth in rock and roll. Look, Whitesnake's no Zeppelin, but "Still of the Night" is a pretty damn strong song.

  • @Graffitti74 Don't forget "Kashmir" at the 3:00 mark. THAT is why I LOVE this song! Complete rip off of FOUR Led Zep songs. (It's the only Whitesnake song that I love.)

  • @Graffitti74 no he's called david coverversion because page cut an album with him to 1. experiment, and 2. get back at plant because of the feud. Because coverdale sounded like plant vocally people thought it was led zeppelin trying to reunite with coverdale rather than plant. Plant saw this opportunity to get back at page, and we see what happened.

  • @Graffitti74

So..???? Led Zeppelin stole many songs from American blues singers.

  • @DiabolousSpiritus Coverversion went as far as to bleach his hair and poof it up Big and Curly. Hilarious.

  • @DiabolousSpiritus Instead of Still of the Night it should of been called "Whole Lotta Posin"

  • @apurdy69 damn i wish i was alive AT ALL rite here!

  • Campbell does that solo worse than a 13 year old with a broken hand

  • Sykes must have pissed himself looking at this. For two such experienced guitarists they make such a mess of this. Its like their not sure what Sykes had done and guessed a lot of it.

  • @gbruceisgod I couldn't agree more.

  • i see them 2 times on graspop dessel and they are so amazing great my favourite band forever!!!

  • 87 like this video... 87 is a badass year only for this great album!!!

  • Best song they ever did, nice choice, Coverdale vocals and Vandenburg guitar.\m/

  • Awesome, awesome performance. My favorite Whitesnake song of all time <3

  • In the beginning of the video he plays with the microphone just like he did back in 1975 when he was with Deep Purple

  • I was at this tour, but in michigan, and don't get me wrong, i LOVE this line-up BUT the vocals were to loud..you couldn't understand anything but FUCK, and it kept cutting out the guitars....but great white and faster pussycat were great

  • If this was filmed then sure a concert DVD should come out at some point in the future?!? Like it happens with the Monsters of Rock '90 show!...

  • in portuguese canta pra caralhooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Perform in INDIA. :| Whitesnake=GOD

  • Perform in INDIA. :| Whitesnake=GOD

  • OH MY GOSH! que perfeita a voz do Coverdale <3

  • I was@ the Wichita show that Nikki referenced in his book, laughing while David was sick onstage and Tommy banging Tawny backstage, blah blah. Funny thing is Whitesnake was ten times better. Forevermore is a killer album btw.

  • 7:48 Coverdale gets hit in the face, lol

  • hmmm not coverdale's best performance, its not terrible but hes out of key in some spots. ah well everyone has their off days i guess

  • Whitesnake ruled the 80's especially 1987!!!

  • Anyone know what country/city this show took place?

  • @YooTubeSuxLikeHell ...Coverdale says, "let me hear you, Tacoma!" That would be in the Tacomadome in Tacoma, WA, USA.

  • Still of the night,motherfuckers!

  • Coverdale's a fucking fag, oh yes, he's all "Thanks for your hospitality...:" BET TOMMY LEE AND NIKKI SIXX GANG BANGED TAWNY KATAEN AFTER THIS FUCKING GIG

  • coverdale is soooooooooooooo fucking out of tune here

  • i dont understand the guys posting here and always criticizing Coverdale´s voice...that´s his fucking style, cant you see that?? It´s falsetto, and that´s it... He´s one of the best rock singers of all times, or do you prefer Axl rose´s voice ???? think it twice.

  • @exelentation We are not critizing his voice, I personally think hes got a good voice, but he's really out of tune in many parts of this song

  • @exelentation agreed..Axle sucks..always has and always will.

  • @exelentation falsetto??? hahahaha since when dc's been singing falsetto? since he was trying to imitate plant? hmm coverdale, falsetto? LOL

  • @sykes0925 pal...when i say "falsetto" i mean a technique called "mezzofalso", it´s when you use your nose to sing, in this song its more than evident that coverdale uses that technique in the highest notes, im a singer too and i always use this technique to reach higher notes, there are lots of singers that use this technique: Plant, Halford, Klaus meine, dokken, etc.

  • @exelentation yeah i know what falsetto is and i understand what u mean. i just couldn't stop laughing when u said "that's his fucking style". no it's not his style. without his deep low voice, he's worse than nothing.

  • Vaya desafinadas nada mas empezar... que horror

  • hm vanderberg's cool but vivian's just ...

  • horrible the sound and the vocal

  • 7m49s ....LOL

  • I must say that Vivian has the solo the closet to the studio recording that I ever heard it live. Particularly the very start which I dont think is even possible on a live guitar, but it sounds similar when he plays it. I mean at 4m11s

  • Thisi s not John Sykes on guitar.

  • @zut212 its vivian campbell and adrian vandenberg on guitars

  • acting like idiots

  • 7:48 LOL! 7:51 Tommy stupid kill you

  • vocals are awful

  • THis is HORRIBLE!!!

  • I can compare it with queen of the reich

  • WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! I am getting fuckin nuts!!! WHAT AN INTRO

  • this was 8:08 minutes of heaven!!! oh my god!!!!

  • This was THE SONG of the summer of 1987!!!

  • Coverdale is definition of rock star

  • Gracias por destrozarte la voz Coverdale... puf...

  • Lol at Rudy licking his bass at 00:15

  • Steaming hot track...they created a masterpiece from beginning to finish. Incredible live performance to top it off.

  • @apurdy69

I was 18 back than! Really! And it sure was great indeed!!!!!!!

I tell you man, these guys were awesome, truly awesome!

  • is there a whole concertvideo of this tour?

  • @RoCkItACDC I would very much like to know that as well.

  • coverdale was badass here

  • @rickey011 - Saw Whitesnake in Philadelphia in August of 1987- still the best live show I ever saw!
