Once i got some larvae's just like this in a bottle, untill i found a full size mosquito sitting in there, then i took the bottle and threw it on a camp fire
The one at the top of the frame is hanging out at the surface. Eventually they hatched into mosquitoes, or something that looked a LOT like mosquitoes.

it doesn't look like it's mosquito larvae or culex pipien larvae. none of them are sticking their siphons to the surface

Yes these are moquito larvae the one little comma looking one in back that went to the top is a pupea.
