  • people need to understand that is totally normal for a pro bodybuilder to take steroids, it's not even 'cheating' because every bodybuilder does it, so back off people, steroids are completely acceptable in professional bodybuilding.

I said it would show the true results, it would be accurate, everyone starts at the same state(roughly) and then whoever puts in the most work, the best diet, etc, gets the best results. With the current state, anyone who doesn't take steroids is at a HUGE disadvantage, and that makes no sense. You can't deny it, it is a fact. You are accepting a logical fallacy as truth otherwise, which again, makes no sense.

  • @desolationofsmaug youre probably right it is just a deep hammergrip press but when i do it sometimes i do it like this because you can get real deep and feel that stretch at the bottom of then rep. that is kind of lost with me when i keep my angle the same im not sure why. the contraction at the top is usually the same though

I LOOOOOVE bodybuilding but i cant workout well because there are no good sport clubs in my country. and this sucks a lot. i training at home with dumbbells but i dont have good progress yet. i'm cutlers fan. you rock jay!

  • When you do chest.. should you target all parts or work one part each chest day?

  • @JRhitman47 It depends how much time you train your chest per week. If its 3 times a week, then yeah target one part per chest day.

    I train my chest once a week. So target all parts everytime (lower, middle, upper).

    I do:

    -4 sets of flat bench

    -4 sets of decline bench

    -3 sets of incline flies

    -2 set of cable crossover

    -200 push ups

    -50 chest dips

    And up to now my Chest is the best part of my body

Have you ever seen an IFBB pro do a decline bench? No, cuz it's piece of shit exercise. You should instead focus on the incline bench, plus, you're 109 years old, you should be dead.

  • @UrizenTheNegator You cannot say that I am doing too much sets without even knowing if I am overtraining. We all have different bodies. Perhaps for YOUR chest its too much, but not for mine.

    Its been 6 years I do 15 to 25 sets for my chest and I keep on growing. My Chest used to be at 37 inches and now its 49 inches. So trust me: there's no overtraining here in my case. Also, I have no eye twitch and I always feel the good ol' pump.

    At 109 years old, I am still in shape buddy LOL

  • @UrizenTheNegator Dorian Yates reckons that decline bench was the best mass building chest exercise that he used. I dont think its necessary to use both flat and decline variations but decline press is useful if your shoulders dominate during flat and incline. But I agree with you - that chest routine below is way too much for any drug-free trainee

  • @aciDradi0 one thing that helped me is i added more intensity and do more supersets,like ill go from shoulder press too curls,or hacks too dumbell bench.another thing with your diet watch how you eat and how often,i mean cakes and stuff like that are high in calories but they are empty calories,one thing that can help too is change the reps every so often or even little things like change the order in which you do your exercises can help a tremendous amount man.

  • @batman77771 yeah thats what i was gonna,since i did legs like on my last day i wa thinking on doing it first,and add more weight to every exercise,and about diet i was eating about 3,000 calories so i guess i will add 500 more,now one thing that just found out,is about testosterone booster is that shit really worth buying it??

  • @aciDradi0 make sure your legs are sore free when you train,yeah thats what i do but just add 500 more slowly or each meal just add 100 too one meal and 100 to two meals the next day ,and etc until you get up too five hundred more,i personally don't take it and haven't studied it enough,if you are going too take it take the herbal first and see how that works,i wouldn't get into taking anything too hardcore.

  • @tmb00x it not always the same..some plastic bells have a longer grip which makes the dumbbell more unstable and it hurts ur wrist so it is quite different.

    Try cable crossovers or use dumbells instead of bars when benching and when doing fly's maybe try them with cables instead of free weights.

    Also try the pec deck if you aren't already.

  • @boehagen do a shitload of interval training bro run about 90% of ur max for 30 seconds and rest for 30 seconds at about 30 or 40% of ur maximum...... if u can't do that do 30 seconds 90% of ur max and rest 60-90 seconds at about 30-40% do that for about 15 to 20 minutes a day and just eat good foods and u will see results in the first week bro

  • As a fan I would love to see Jay's workout partners and trainers help keep his range of motion the same on both sides. After watching a number of his workouts his left arm goes much higher at the top of both flyes and presses. I really think it has something to do with the imbalance from left to right.

I guess this supporst my theory that form and full extension doesn't have to be picture perfect. I think if u are causing intense muscle contractions to ur muslces, even if u don't have a complete full range of motion, u will still develop strong muscles

Without going into detail, he is trying to keep the work on his pecs instead of locking out and shifting all of the tension to the frontal delts and triceps. Try doing your reps like that for chest on a seated press machine (for example) at the end of your workout. You will really feel the difference then.
