Ok. I see the concept, but wouldn't changing the initial shape of the soap cause it to become a different shape after use. What I mean is, will it still be a sliver after you've used it a lot. Also, if you wear down one side, then you end up with a very awkwardly shaped bar, yes? With three sides intact... Interesting idea, certainly solves a problem... but I'm not sure it's marketable.
The bar of soap is manufactured with the slot. No soap is lost. After you insert the sliver of old soap in the new bar with the slot it dissolves then you take that small sliver and insert it into the next new bar of slotted soap.
Whatever happened to just pressing your sliver ONTO your next bar? Don't tell me that's become too difficult for kids?

I've tested this over time. The slotted soap does reduce to a normal, even shaped sliver.

what do you do with the soap from the hollow hole?
when you get to the middle, you still wind uip with the same little left over....think about what your doing lol
