  • nic cage is getting rihanna'd at the end.

  • nicolas cage in his prime

  • Love this film and scene so much.

So funny how everyone has a gun and the lengths they'll go to kill someone stealing some huggies

  • Nathan needs some Huggies....I'll be out directly.

  • Carter Burwell

  • this is before depends

  • This reminds me of Postal 2 for some reason

  • 80's movies were wierd, but in a good way.

  • Brilliant perfect genius film

  • I love this part. This is Cage in his best role. I counted 65 gunshots!

  • Cop shoots at a house twice as H.I. goes in, and then you hear this announcement.

"That is private property, son. Come out to the street and reveal yourself to Officer Steve."

    I love it.

  • 3:57 thank ya. lolol

  • everthangs chaaannnged

  • The cop's tenacity is breathtaking. That one cop shooting down the supermarket aisles had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to die.

  • i never forget that old man ....aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh ,:)

  • I remember when Nic Cage did good movies...

  • One of the funniest movie scenes in the history of comedy movies

  • Wow if Arizona was this trigger happy the Mexican cartels would be scared of us

  • What was he wearing sir? "His jammies". And what was on his jammies sir? "I don't know, Yoda's and shit." Funniest line ever!!!!

  • One of the best chase scenes ever.

  • That movie is soo great! he's got some real gems. i feel like that's how Trespass is going to be...it's not coen bros. film, but it looks like cage is back in full swing. here's the trailer if you're interested: bitly(dot)com/o7TwhG

  • ...everythings chaaanged.

  • here is what i know that you may all don't, the coens created not only one of the greatest off beat comedies ever, but this is how they did it: they had told the whole cast one singular word that sums up their work and that is .........ENJOY!!!!

cause man oh man damn it did i have fun seeing it 20 times in just 3 months, thank joel and ethan for this fucking masterpiece as i did ENJOY!!!

  • That son of a BITCH XD

  • I love how the Muzak in the store is playing a convenience store version of the same modified Ode to Joy theme song. The Coen brothers are quite clearly the greatest living writer/director duo. Raising Arizona is easily among my top twenty.

  • is all the shooting a parody of red states that are really pro gun

not thats theres anything wrong with that

  • @wiecbb11 No. In the context of the film, H.I. had been repeatedly robbing convenience stores so much that I think the local authorities finally had enough, since it was obvious that prison wasn't doing anything to rehabilitate these guys.

  • Man those store clerks sure are protective of those huggies.

  • 4:14-4:21- The add for " Unpainted Arizona" is playing on the TV while he is being chased through the home.

  • @Eurotrash4367 Good call!

  • Better hurry up , I'm in dutch with the wife"

  • that sunabitch

  • well it aint ozzie and harriet not any more welcome to the planet of the apes

  • hey, he stole 40 bucks out of the register and a thing of diapers.... SHOOT TO KILL

  • Nathan Jr. accepts me for who I am!

  • Nicholas Cage's early apex.

  • This should be a commercial for Huggies.

  • (while watching) MAN... does it ever stop?! xD

  • I've seen hundreds of movies in my life - most of them comedies. This is probably the funniest scene ever put on film. The fact that they are able to keep this going as long as they do and it doesn't run out of gas but actually gets funnier is just brilliant.

  • the finest Coen bros.!

  • at 6:05 weve got a child now, everything chaaaaaaaanged ; -0 tooooo funny lolol

  • that was just pure luck that he didn't run into a dead-end in the house

  • You son of a bitch, what if me or Nathan hadda been picked up- Turn left here... LOL

  • That clerk is an ugly fuck

  • Thanks to ALL For the 10,000 Views of this wonderful clip from "Raising Arizona!!"

  • 5:21 - classic look on his face when the guy shoots at him with the shotgun - lol

  • This can't be Arizona, all of the product labels in the store are written in English.

  • "I'll be taking these huggies and uh, whatever cash you got." Classic!!!

  • "I'll be taking these huggies and uh, whatever cash you got." Classic!!!

  • In Arizona, cops are issued pistols that hold 30 rounds, minimum.

  • marge did this on the simpsons lol

  • LOL, he went through all that...for a bag of Huggies.

  • god loll this movie.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU SON OF A BITCCHH!"

  • AHAH ``Nathan J.R accepts me for who i am`` classic.

  • This all seems like a huge amount of effort to capture a guy who just wants Huggies for a kid he kidnapped.

  • One of the best comedies EVER.

  • ..."ill be out directly".

  • this movie is entirely responsible for me going to asu

  • 4:09. My Hollywood debut. That's me in the green. :)

    Just saying.

  • LOL @ 3:45-4:00 xD

  • "I come from a long line of frontiersman and....oh turn here, honey."

  • Son, you got a panty on yur head...

  • @namned One of the Coens best lines...

  • "Better hurry it up, I'm in dutch with the wife."

  • amazing scene

  • lol this is just so classic

randomness and reactions of people who never have anyhting to do

  • Wow, look at the baby in the front seat. How things have changed since the 80's.

  • @CharlestonChica --That was before when the Government started being our nanny.

  • what is the song in the scene?

  • @pmk4609

Way Out There by Carter Burwell.

  • Comment removed

  • @pmk4609 The song is a version of "Way Out There"

  • this is SO funny! cain't forget the diapers!

  • i'm in dutch with the wife. hahaha

  • Classic, the first Coen Brothers film I ever saw and I still get a laugh out of it - the music is genius too.

  • What the hell. Those police are crazy shooting so recklessly.

  • My Dad say he worked in that same gas station while attending Arizona Tech in the mid 80's shortly before this movie was made. :D I find that interesting.

*I'm on my on moms account*

  • @kmomto7

Ask your Dad if he read Juggs magazine and packed a .44 Ruger Super Blackhawk under the counter?

  • That was a S&W (Smith and Wesson) all nickle plated .44 Magnumn revolver, take my word for it....Im Whitey!

  • @BagfaceBass

    Who's Whitey?

  • "Son, you got a panty on yer head." I laugh hysterically every time I hear that line.

  • Bag of Huggies, excuse me. XP

  • One of the high points in Nicolas Cage's career as an actor. Being chased by cops, dogs, while getting shot at by convinence store clerks and grocery store cashiers. All that just for a quick robbery... AND A BAD OF HUGGIES! XD
