  • Linda d+ essa musica..faz a gente sonhar!!

  • yeah i was there too.. god it was great. oh u know he plans on coming back to the Ford Center right?

  • goosebumps.

    just goosebumps.

wow. i love you david ♥

  • i was there and it was amazing. i almost cried.

  • I can't even imagine knowing the feeling of seeing that live. I mean, that hits home for him... wow. Amazing... I have goosebumps.

  • That was the most amazing vocal and heartwrenching emotion I have ever seen. You were lucky to experience that moment live. David needs to make a reappearance on Idol and show these wannabe's how it's done. I would love to see him perform this on Idol. He is too busy with his tour, but he would be my choice for dream mentor on that show. Never watched the show before him and I don't think anyone can come close to this guy in terms of pure raw talent. I am awestruck by his talent and artistry.

  • ((wow)) speechless..absolutely and utterly beautiful...

  • That was powerful. Well done David.

  • so deeply poignant...so many songs mean nothing to the performers, but David feels every letter of every word, every note and every breath of his songs...and makes us feel the same things. i love his honesty, his transparency and his gigantic HEART. His AMAZING voice and killer looks don't hurt, either!

  • Wow. I have seen this song sungnow maybe 5 times. And this was by far the most impactful. And that is not to say that the others were not. Now, if he can just get people to move to action on what he wants them to do. cancer sucks. but what do we do. We have all given money and... and.... what next?

  • wow. i am speechless. i am in tears

  • ((David))...wow...poor kid.

  • I was there. It hurt him and believe me, if you care at all, you felt it. The fact that he can sing it again and again with the raw pain in his heart makes me love him more...the boy's dedicated to his bro.

  • David said that he hopes that performing this song will in some way make a difference. With performances like that, how can it not?

  • Thank you ... heartbreakingly beautiful.

  • I love you David. You bare your soul.

Thanks for capturing the essence of David.

  • I stand in awe of this man....

  • brilliant

  • David has taken me through every emotion known to mankind.

  • This was so beautiful and moving - David getting down on his knees, the heart tap at the end, very moving - Bravo, David.

  • OMG---Thank you sooooo much for filming this. Perfect. We've been waiting for this since we heard about it. Powerful, heart wrenching performance. David Cook is phenomenal live. Beautiful!!

    Mary

  • I agree with Suenee88. I think this will get harder for him to sing as the tour goes on. He looks so hurt you just want to hug him.

  • Beautiful..............

  • A heartbreakingly beautiful performance, his most gutwrenching ever. My heart goes out to David and Adam and their whole family. Personally, I'm off to Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) to make another donation to fight this scourge in their honor.

  • VERY POWERFUL! I AM SPEECHLESS. I haIve been waiting for this. Thanks for the post. It is so touching. I don't know how much longer he can do this song. This reaction is not a good sign for Adam. I just want to put my arms around him and hold him.

  • i keep watching 1:52

    i cant stop

  • You could hear a pin drop it was so beautifully quiet during this song. This crowd really respected Dave and his story.

  • I love this song and this performance is just beautiful - well done David

    Also, thanks for the video!

  • Never fails to rip my heart out with this one!

  • Wow. I don't know if his falling to his knees was simply to take a small break or if the song is becoming a bit too emotionally overwhelming. Either way it's very understandable. Great performance nonetheless!
