FYI use the shotgun at a certain distance for it to be effective against a horde.

shotgun= wide spread shot close range

machine gun=rapid close or close quarter range's

sinper rifle= far range and effective against tank and charger but go somewhere higher so you can buy yourself some time to get away

melee=very effective in close range, mainly for the fire axe or chain saw.
