  • AYTA EINAI!!!YEAH!!

  • orido is one of my fav drifters but i must admit taniguchi was better that day plus he had a altezza while orido had a supra which is better but orido still kicks ass, i wish i could go drift in the mountains

  • Super!!!

  • Orido is nasty. He makes it look too easy

  • And you are a world class drift judge and world know top notch drifter:))) Have u even ever tried to drift!? U should learn more about drifting and about "these guys" from this here clip. :)

  • haha yeah I'm sure. NOB is the inaugural D1 champ and was stated by Drift King he was top drifter in D1 all the way from begining until he left in 2005 to focus on GT300 and circuit attacks

  • Orido and Taniguchi

    they are my favorite drifter!

  • Sick fucking nasty cars... me want now.

  • WTF you're talking about? I was just giving my opinion...

  • get your facts right before you give ur stupid opinion

  • I don't know what's your problem man... If your comments are limited to calling other users "dick boys", then you should take a rest of commenting on YT. Get a life.

  • Tony240Z=idiot

  • this vid is awesome. I'm surprised that No One Better seemed to out perform Helmet Hair. it might just be the big as supra he is driving but yeah sick shit they are tearing it up. thanks for sharing

  • both have major skills...........

  • supra vs what altezza?

  • thats so fucking tight. rwd ftw

  • they are so good i bet they could have done it with their eyes closed :p

  • crazy talent!!!

  • taniguchi is nothing like tsuchiya taniguchi uses handbrakes :(

  • Jess boiii awesome video :)

  • they get to change clutch every 5k miles.......:P

  • its worth it :D they live in japan or something, and clutches and other car parts are waaaay mych cheaper there than in europe ;)

  • if they're lucky. more like every 1k miles.

  • 2jz's ftmfw....toyota rulez...

  • the supra driver sucked.... but ye i agree 2jz is nice.

  • manabu "max" ordio does not suck he is also a JGTC driver look his name up and youll get blasted

  • I love the camera car driving in front, you get to see some really good footage then, these guys have really got it down to a fine art now though, It almost looks effortless, they can

    drift so well,

anyone know this road? it keeps cropping up in loads of drift videos

  • the first 3 min is a driftcourse in the Ebisu Racetrack Complex

NFS Pro Street has a 1 to 1 copy of it to play on

  • NFS prostreet fails when it comes to drifting.... Forza motorsport owns

  • Grid owns at drifting.

  • your a joke. look up Project BlackJack The rising storm on Vimeo.

Youtube version was edited by youtube officials

  • the dynamics fucking suck balls. Nothing like drifting in real life.

But sorry forgot your the fucking expert... twat.

  • making it look so easy its rather boring...

    Lol

  • orido and taniguchi are fuckin awesome.¡.¡,¡

    crazyyyyyy TOYOTA RULES¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • It looks like NOB has better angle. But I think it's because the Supra wasn't completed yet in the video. Like it doesn't look gutted like the Altezza and the pedals look regular instead of the GT pedals. These guys are awesome!

  • orido tanaguchi kazama and of course the drift king tsuchiya r the best drifters

  • Damn!!! Dood's workin his ass off! That's the sHiT!! Thanks for sharing! :)

  • holy shit

  • taniguchi is fuckin awesome.

  • OMG NO WAY!

    :O

  • altezza gnarred

  • nob kicks ass

  • wow

  • wow! nob's new is220-z altezza! nob is amazing.

  • new that old, didn't he retire from drift? cause HKS went with the Altezza for markiting reasons and Nobuteru Taniguchi left due to the un driftable car choise that HKS went with, and he is curently driving in JGTC (His nickname is NOB)

  • You're so fuckin dumb NOB retired for personal reasons and is coming back for the 09 season and he participated in 1 d1 season with the car then took a 2 year break from D! but he did put on A number of Drift demos for HKS within this 2 year period in 2 diff. Drift spec Altezzas one with a VV-ti's 2jz-gte and the other with a VV-Ti'd 3s-gte

  • personal reasons.. its stated that HKS pulled from the D1GP at the end of the '05 season due to the altezza's poor performence in competetion and wasn't his demo car for the usa a Astiro.. i beleave this would be the 2JZ variant of the altezza you are talking about i wouldn't konw for sure im not from america...

  • Dude here are the facts there are currently 2 drift twin Altezza's color scheme Genki Red, Yellow, and Black, one with a custom Hybrid(by hybrid I mean NA head, with forged turbo internals strocked with and HKS turbo and assorted other goodies.) VVt-i 2jz-gte (this was the car used in round 6 of D1GP only it had a 3s-gte in it at the time IS220-R), the other with an HKS built 3s-gte IS220-Z. HKS didn't build a Drift Aristo for Taniguchi to demo look it up if you don't believe me.

  • Oh yeah and there's a shit ton of video evidents on here that supports my latest comment. Oh and I almost forgot Taniguchi didn't retire because of the poor drifting ability of the Altezza it was a little more political than that think about it everyone acknowledges him as the best right, you've seen him drift if you watch D1GP there are a few rounds where the Judging is rediculously shady, and its usually the runs against Kazama and Nomuken(Ken Nomura).

  • that's a sequential tranny. it only goes up and down like the arcade racing games.

  • Does anyone know why the shifter is only going up and down? Also what is that called?

  • that might be the e-brake...

  • you push the Emergency-brake with your foot well normal people do. you dont use the hand-brake to change gear either lol

definatly sequential same as or similar to rally cars. reduces shift times severly for that quicker change in and out of corners.

  • Because it's a sequential gearbox.

  • sequential shifter not gearbox he has a clutch pedal ikeya formula makes this wierd looking mechanism for the sequential shift pattern instead of the h pattern type used almost everywhere

  • Many sequential gearboxes come with a clutch pedal.

  • not 100% sure but most jap conversion are done though the the shifter linkage, opossed to G/box so i think the correct term would be a Sequential Shifter unless they are using a aftermarket G/boox pretty sure the just use custom ratios, and lol that E-brake is not foot actuated

  • which course of ebisu is this on?

  • it is huh lol, it looks a lil different but i cant wait to get my drift car to start doing this again....although im definately not that good.

  • that guy who said orido's line was better is crazy. nob rips that shit. period.

  • is this an Toyota Altezza? I'm sure but what you thinkin?;>

  • Yes, it is a Toyota Altezza.

  • Orido,tsuchiya,nomuken are the best

  • orido's line is better

  • naw i think taniguchi in the altezza is better. orido loses his drift a lot

  • i think this is drift for fast not drift for show...

    who know ?

  • they were doing it for fun to see whose better and orido was getting left behind for a while. the hks altezza was drifting better cause orido hasnt been drifting a lot where taniguchi has been drifting almost every d1 event.

  • The 80-Supra is a difficult car to bend on a road course like that. Very difficult to pull it sideways, in fact. Add to that the fact Orido's got quite some turbo lag for 600ps output against Taniguchi's 480ps. But Taniguchi has been drifting for a very, very long time anyway; much longer than Orido has.

  • taniguchis car has 540ps the black one had 480ps. the supra is a lighter car than the alteza.

  • 谷口 (oops, i had my japanese thing on) line is better than orido's at the very tight s curve but other than that, they are about the same.

  • oh my god you must frequently type in Japanese forums! Is there any way I can watch you from afar and learn how to be a genuine Touge master?

  • what? i don't see how that has anything to do with what i wrote.

  • orido/tsuchiya/nomura ken they are the best crazy drifter

  • frick driftingg doesnt agree wit alot of ppls wallets... cheaper than racing but still...

  • Thats why you take the used tyres from tyre shops ^ ^

  • i kno u can get tires from pick n pull (edmonton) but u need lsd rebuild clutches and shit... 3k for good springs and dampers =/

  • sick vid

  • Dude where did u get this video anyway?

  • theres something about the altezza at 2:40 that makes it look like its alive. such a hard looking drift

  • its funni watching old option videos and seeing orido and nobi going from street racers to highly skilled pro drivers lol (nobi maybee the better drifter but remmeber who was the frst d1 champ ;) rido-san haha and to be honest orido is a better driver i mean he competes in gt500 :P not 300 lmao nobis ok tho hes like oridos lil bro haha and freaking tsuchiya is like there mentor father XD man what am i talking about lmao

  • Dawg you hit the nail on the head....

  • nob gets better each time

  • japanese drift 4 ever

  • I was never interested in Drift because of F&F Tokyo Drift. Then I saw this video. Ohmyfuckinggod! How could they turn this ART into that horrible movie? HOW?

  • Americanized drift movie that why they should of keep it japanese style

  • Nob`s curently racing super-gt(jgtc) in japan (gt300 series) in a 911 porsche.. I didnt no he raced u.s formula-D tho..

  • he dosnt compete in FD he does demo runs

  • how come i dont see Taniguchi on D1GP anymore?

  • he retired from d1gp to continue in jgtc racing now you'll see him formula d events

  • so, he only races now in japan and drifts in us

  • 賣相一流,好型.........

  • i think Orido jus ate some of Taniguchi's smoke

  • NOB is fucking amazing.

  • such a nice altezza

    verry nice post thanx

  • fucking NOB man! looks like he has been improving his acceleration techniques and lines as well. i noticed a difference in the lines he takes at the ebisu drift course. he brakes just a bit earlier then before to increase his angle then gradually maxes it out to maintain more speed at the exit. man i sure hope he competes in D1 again soon because im dying to see that altezza in action!

  • the back car keeping straight into the turn was gay at 00:30

  • That was him holding the ebrake and drifted straight into the turn, prolly the hardest thing on earth to do. Instead of doing a feint drift, he connected the chicane with one long drift with the use of ebrake. that was dope, not gay!

  • ye men.

  • I agree with what ngcharlesshk said about at 00:30, that's possibly the most skilled thing in the entire vid.

  • if you call that gay, you're watching the wrong autosport man. the "back car" is Nobuteru Taniguchi, a living legend. Like what ngcharleshk said, that is EXTREMELY difficult to perform.

  • dude i was joking man...gay not as in homo, but so massproness...

  • Loved it thanx 4 upload.

  • i love supras but they're not the best drifters, there just way to heavy...i mean look at how the IS leaves the supra in its smoke at 2:40...gotta give props to Orido for handleing such a machine...

  • no, it not heavy.. road very small.. they're good drift for all small road...

  • jdm yo

  • YES !

  • i could watch that for hours

  • pues yo no lo veo...
