You know what one thing is that I love about these acoustics? It's that Chris doesn't sound close to perfect. And for me, that's a great thing as it makes feel closer to being able to be part of an amazing performance. As as singer, I often get beat down because my favourite singers are amazing. But Chris sounds rather average here, and it makes me love him even more because it's still beautiful.

They should seriously consider releasing an acoustic album. Where the synth driven commercial hits like Speed of Sound and Viva La Vida are able to pose a front for the band it doesn't portray the best of Coldplay. You'll find the genius in Coldplay when they perform acoustically or in songs like Rush of blood to the head or Don't Panic. They are deserving of their commercial success unlike 99% of the shit in today's charts.

Wow, I really liked this song until I realized that the way Chris is playing the B, F#, and E chords Chris is playing are identical to "Yellow," and they couldn't have copped-out "Where the Stars Go Blue" more from 1:50 to 2:17. They shouldn't have to make a new chord progression as long as it sounds great and works great, and the song doesn't sound the same as others with the same chords (which this doesn't!)

@map462 The songs are in different tunings though, in fact lots of Coldplay songs aren't in standard tuning. They're pretty brilliant, and definitely underrated musicians. They're no Radiohead, but they are pretty damn good.
