I'd like to reference an essay written by Graffin. Punk is a way of thinking differently and pushing boundaries, no? I believe if you are to do any justice to the term, Punk needs to have it's boundaries pushed. I no longer consider myself a punker, because it goes against labeling. You learn to group yourself in a collective of free-thinking individuals, and then abandon it to think on your own. If you don't leave the pride, Then you're doomed to think with the pulse of a never-changing crowd.

I wouldn't say I'm a punk but I hang out with punk kids, listen to punk music and agree with them in a lot of ways. There's still a healthy level of dichotomy in some ways but being a non-conformist for the sake of non-conformity is silly.

Do what you want... do what represents your opinion. Punk is not a 'never changing crowd'. Look at how many sub-genre's of punk there are.

Was going for a joke. Most everybody I know here complains about anything and everything they can. It's like a staple of american life, and maybe life outside the states as well. The french/canadians/republicans and so on and so forth are just propellant for whatever complaints they may or may not have. We're a very arrogant people, the americans. I generalize, of course, there's always the good, non-judgementals, but we're far outnumbered.
