I made something similar but instead I used a cup and a half of water and butter. But I boiled the garlic in that water until the water was almost gone. And I didn't use any oil. I'm not a fan of oil. But mine thickened up alot better than the one in the video but i cooked mine for about 20 minutes. It was fantastic. Oh I also threw in some corn flour to help thicken it
Do you think the sauce would be good as a dipping sauce for lobster?

Chicken Stock is the best substitute for White wine in most recipes. Enjoy!

@LobsterGram its also good for boiling sweet potatoes,i use it in alot of my recipes :)

Looks great...I have the wine question too. I'm allergic to sulfites and can't have any wine. I wonder if a bit of chicken stock would work.......
