@95831Lily Isn't this a lovely tune/sentiment. My fav McCartney song. I've sung and played this song for nearly 50 years. The odd thing is, though, there is a Stephen Foster (Camptown Races, etc) song called "Gentle Annie" written in the late 1800's that is almost identical (from a musician's POV). I encourage you to try and find it on the 'Net somewhere. It is lovely and sad. And, don't forget "Longer Than", by Fogelberg. Also, musically, VERY similar. Don't know why, but it is so.
