  • im glad i do not drive a car i will depend on taxis for my transportation, high gas costs, high insurance prices, high tickets, asinine legal procedures, im glad i do not drive very glad

  • wow you are a fucking baby. get over it pussy

  • So you believe in selective enforcement of the laws? Either you apply the law to everyone or you don't have the law.

Maybe you can't understand the concept.

You might only like the law to be applied to blacks, or Republicans, or Palin supporters. That's your problem.

I was nailed because I helped to solve a crime when the state police did not want to bother. I had to do the detective work.

Now the State Police have been wonderful. And I've always been supportive of the police. Thank you!

  • Wow, you are a cry baby. Pay your fine and quit your whining.

  • arnold says, 'STOP WHINING!'

  • Got a ticket, boohoo, and maybe for attitude.

  • I don't think that posting a video with a long info section detailing your unhappiness with the law enforcement system is anywhere near being productive. This is an issue you should either take to a blog or a courtroom (or both). Your video has supplied no means of information to back up your argument. Just my opinion

  • I paid my fine.. around here they send a summons to an 18 year old who was giving cocaine to minors. Read about that in the Daily Review.. or do you care?

  • So would SatNav systems also fall under the inane laws of unobstructed windows? Would they prefer someone to have a map on their lap? Cops can be complete idiots at times.

  • Recently they have been good. But I feel the reason why they have been good is that they realize that the guy who nailed me for three things with glee was out of control.

  • i kind of know how you feel. i got a seat belt ticket in my truck but its perfectly legal to ride a motorcycle with no helmet here. cops these days are little more than tax collectors.

  • completly BORING

  • sorry i bored you.. selective enforcement of our laws is the first sign of a failed system.

either you nail everyone or you don't nail anyone. now they are hitting people with terroristic threats in PA by the state police

when you tell someone to get off your property.

  • i guess thats alright it was only 24 seconds

  • If one were to take the time to read the "full info" it would take much longer than 24 seconds.

  • Your right about motorcycles. I love them,

but you are safer in a car without a seat belt

than on a motorcycle with helmets, leathers, etc. go figure.

  • they have a quota to meet. if they dont file enough charges they wont make as much...it all depends on how hard they work...so they will find any reason to give tickets away. =/ if my grampa was alive today hed throw a shitfit over how currupt elmira police are now =/

  • How do you know this Trooper doesn't enforce this law 100% How do you know he doesn't write every person he pulls over a citation for the same offense. You don't. You can't assume something like that when you don't know. How do you know you were singled out. There's only one of him and allot of people. You can't be every where he is.

  • If an Officer gives a warning or a ticket they are still enforcing the law. There are still laws around that cannot be enforced 100%. In some states oral sex even with your spouse is illegal. Should this be enforced 100% and how.

  • But they do give warnings.. otherwise the court would be packed with such cases. You don't make a law unless you entend to enforce it 100% without exceptions. The fact is that it is arbitrary as to when they warn or ticket. that is wrong. Hey double the fine if I get caught again on a warning. no problem. I had no idea about this.

  • If the trooper gave you a warning then the judge would not be involved at all. Therefore anytime a Police Officer or Trooper gives a citation they are giving the judge a chance to decide. It is your decision to take it to court or not.

  • It all depends on the time of day, also most of the experation stickers are reflective making them easier to see. Also if he pulled along side your car he could have saw it. Also if you are about one car length you can see the stickers. Also you can't get arrested for following to closely.

  • I tell you what.. If I get nailed on this mirror thing, I will never give on dime to any police organization again or any other organization. And I will tell them why. And the money I say, will pay for BS like this.

  • Thats the price paid for lower tax's.....LOL

  • really.. on route 80 they have dots and your suppose to keep two dots from the car in front of you..

your saying I don't have to?? I thought it was one car length per 5 mph.

  • The Judge in court can actually throw that ticket out completely or reduce the fine. Allot of time if you get more then one ticket and take both to court the judge consolidates that fines or just makes you pay one and drop the other.

  • Well this time there were 4 state troopers and three

local cops.. great use of your tax money.

  • If I am not mistaken, you live in Pitt right? Well if so, I beg to differ. The poverty rate because of the lack of steel workers is extreme in Pittsburgh right now, and poverty and crime are very closely linked. As of now, Pittsburgh has one of the lowest crime rates in the country, and I dont really mind the extra police to keep me safe.

  • "poverty and crime are very closely linked. "

    Actually not at all.

Race and Crime are far more closely linked.

And police don't do a goddamn thing to keep you safe idiot. By definition police are designed to prosecute someone AFTER THEY'VE DONE THE CRIME!

  • Also it is very easy to see objects hanging from someones rear view mirror when you are driving behind them. Especially large or long objects. You can even see hang tags on the mirrors. I'll agree though a minor traffic violation such as the objects hanging from your mirror, yes it is minor. Sure he could have written a warning, but something led him to do otherwise. Maybe it was some thing he observed, or something that occurred during the stop.

  • when they give anyone a break they are playing god.. As you said their job is NOT to give people breaks, but to enforce the law. I took those things down and complied with the law. He however did not give the judge a chance to decide when he or others let things slide. But he does and others do.

  • Here's the thing, the Judge will decide if it is crap or not in court. The Officer is not deciding it roadside. He saw a traffic violation, made a lawful traffic stop and issued paperwork he thought was Necessary. He's not playing God, that's why courts do exsist and this isn't like the movie judge dredd where the Officers play the role of judge, jury and Executioner.

  • well i got my court date on August 3rd .. Se we will see. How close would he have to be to actually read the date sticker while moving? How close can one legally be from a car at 25 MPH without being arrested for tail gating?

  • As far as recieving a citation versuses a warning, that's Officer disrection. How was your Demeanor on the traffic stop? Some Officers write just citations for certain violations, period. Most of the time if they write one person a ticket for a violation 99.9% of the time that Officer is going to write everyone a ticket for the same offense.

  • I pulled over the instant he threw on the lights. I knew he was following me for several miles. I could not figure out why..I had no idea. The local paper printed my letter to the editor.

  • I'm not saying that you are a terrible person. Things like this give Officers probable cause to stop a vehicle. Allot of criminals drive vehicles on the road, thus an oppurtunity to pull over a criminal and potentially stop them from Committing a crime. For example Timothy mcveigh was pulled over on a traffic stop for a light being out.

  • I think fair is fair and that officers should be held to a higher standard of the laws then slobs like me who don't know the law. I saw nothing in the drivers manual on things hanging from the mirror.

  • Again these vehicles are not in motion, they are not breaking the law. Also that's real nice you put this Troopers first and last name all over the internet, as well as all of those peoples tag numbers.

  • 30% of the cars on main street , Towanda driving down the road have stuff on thier mirror. Logic would say that that at least 30% of the tickets trooper warnick

issued included this offense. But I doubt it. so he let some go. why?

  • Once Trooper Warnick decides who the law comes down on, he is playing judge. It is the judge who should decide if the charges are bull shit not Trooper Warnick. Trooper Warnick could issue 100 tickets for this offense a day. But he does not. why?

  • why do cops wait outside of bars to stop people? If you were intellectually honest you would agree with me that this was a BS thing worthy of a warning.

Either you nail everyone for everything you can or you are playing God , Judge and Jury. When they came for the jews it started one at a time.

  • I expect to see no items on all mirrors in Towanda.

These people are breaking the law. they are terrible like me. Trooper warnick should be proud to have his name out there for people to know how he is protecting them from terrible people like me.

  • dude he didn't remember you or anything like that it just fucking happens now quit bitching and pay your shit

  • Well I'm going to help Trooper Warnick by filming enough people with stuff in their mirrors to keep him the top revenue producer in all of bradford county.

Obviously this is very important to him.. not to show

any mercy or compassion. so I will help him. meet his

goals at the expense of other "innocent" people. Officers like that give other officers a bad rap.

  • Dear Todd, In your 21 years of existence you have not learned enough about right and wrong in New Cumberland, Pa. My best to Patricia.

Yes Dude, call the police Dude and see what happens to you. Call the Judge Dude and see what happens.

No,all Trooper Warnick has to do is drop the one ticket and everything comes off you tube as a

misunderstanding. but I doubt that will happen.

  • Dear Todd,

Your language is a credit to Trooper Warnick, I'm sure he is very happy to see your post.. that someone of your stature could be so articulate and supportive.

No..Trooper Warnick went a long way in setting back the good image of troopers and all law enforcement professionals. For what? To be cute?

  • Dear Todd, I'm sure Trooper Warnick has given breaks before.

Maybe to a friend. Maybe to a fellow officer. They say that happens. Professional courtesy. Maybe to a cute female, I don't know. It isn't fair to really suggest. But I hope that about 25 to 30 percent of his stops include tickets for things hanging on the mirror.. or he overlooked them before.
