  • i was in India for a couple of Months (Loved it! awesome land& people), and two miracles happened from which i will share one: i NEVER got sick. not even a little. i kept it Veggie, but i did eat street food, Fruits and some things like tomatoes and cucumbers i was advised to stay away from..even gave away my malaria pills to a local hospital and took at least one accidental little sip from the Ghanges..(Jai jai ganga mata!.) i can only hope ill have the same blessing again next time i go..

  • never got ill...!? yeah right! i go every year an avoid street food and I'm so careful with what I eat..and I STILL MANAGE TO GET ILL.

Gahhh Im craving this food noww!!

  • great film! freal kolkata!!!! kieran from Kolkata

  • i am bengali from bangladesh this our food different to india

  • thumbs up 4 the cheapest metropolis of india ...... actually here only you get really tasty food for only 20-25 rupees ........

  • Nice to see that people appreciate simple food, unlike in the UK

  • @Hitty1967 who said that ? thats just something u made up!

  • never got ill my arse!

  • these food are dirty, the indians living there are the only ones that can eat it , because they have developed an immunity.

    others will fall sick .

  • @sms111able so true! I was there earlier this year to just check out the country and more than half the time I was sick!

  • @missmillionmaker I am of Indian Ethnicity, but born and raised in the US. When I go to India, even if I dont eat street food, or drink only mineral water, I still get stomach problems. The reason is not sanitation, its more to do with the climate.

A hot country has a lot more active germs.

On the flip side, people from hot countries have super immune systems.

H1N1 can kill us, but they would be a mild flu for Indians.

    Everything has pros & cons.
