  • MOAI STIKJE

  • Nothing like a church pipe organ! Great!

  • Wow!!! What an upbeat, exciting excillerating performance from both organ and organist. It is so obvious that he is into this piece with heart and soul. I'm presently learning this piece and hope I can play half as well!

  • Amazing talent!. It's great to see and listen at will all the way from Canada

  • Stupendo!!

  • Outstanding artist--thanks for sharing this play!

  • That has the absolute WOW factor. Do it again. I'll be listening.

  • Oeh! Wat een gaaf stukje vanaf 1:27 :)

  • Never let it end!

  • Is this Composed by Martin Mans, too?

  • attributed to John Bull, arranged by Richard Ellsasser.

  • Whats really amazing, averge person has no idea of time delays, frm time key is pressed= sound several seconds depending on construction, acoustics etc.

Once you get into music Ur mind is soley on notes & not sound coming out UNLESS U R blessed w/ all gifts= hearing, seeing, feeling& "tasting" piece U R "expressing"!

    Gifts U R born w/ & can't be learned!

S quite physically demanding which am no longer able.

I miss playing & feeling the sound vibrate my bones when playing a REAL pipe organ!

  • Is there an edition of this for the piano?

  • i dont think so

    but you van try

  • I hadn't heard this magnificent piece since 1965 when Faith Powell played it on our college organ. I was delighted to discover it on YOUTUBE and there to be introduced to the master organist, Martin Mans. of whom I am now a staunch fan. His music is very inspirational as he plays these beautiful sounding organs. I hope he will come to the U.S. some time so I can hear him in person and hope to meet him.

  • it's a beautiful piece!!!!

  • He's probably the best organist I've ever seen and heard. Rock on, Martin Mans!

  • Geweldig!!!

  • Excellent organist by the way.

  • WOW - I like this interpretation - I've always enjoyed playing this piece!

  • Where can I get an MP3 of the this?

  • hello Martin Mans i went to your organ concert last year. Amazing to talk to u about how u got in to organ music . and thanks for the email address u sent me on msn. Thank u and see u soon god bless and this peace u played was at that concert and was amazing :D

  • No doubt this is a excellent organist, the music was superb! Thank you

  • Awsome!!! That is great!!!

  • Catchy tune. The organ is not only very powerful but very beautiful as well. It certainly commands a huge presence in the room.

  • TOTALLY awesome! I have this piece ordered, in written music (I know I'll have fun learning it!). I have also ordered one of your CD's.. very anxious for it to arrive. The energy and rhythm are great! And, what a fantastic pipe organ!

  • way to go martin allways liked you way with the pipe organ but to wach you do it is something else thanks for the show

  • It's been 20 years since I have had the thrill of hearing an organ piece for the "first time". What a great discovery. What a joy.

  • To jest naprawdę super! Muszę nuczyć sie tego utworu. Podoba mi się.

It's really super! I must learn this. I like it!

  • Please,who has the score?

  • Go to the Morning Star Music website

  • oh my goodness! this song is absolutely gorgeous I must learn it! Where can I find the sheet music? and who composed it? John Bull? Richard Ellsasser? Please help!

  • The music is published by "Morning Star Music Publishers of St. Louis" in 2000. On the frontpage stands "attributed to John Bull, freely arranged by Richard Ellsasser". It seems not very complicated but you have to play it at cyberspeed :-): "As fast as possible".

  • The music is published by "Morning Star Music Publishers of St. Louis" in 2000. On the frontpage is noted "attributed to John Bull, freely arranged by Richard Ellsasser". It seems not very complicated but you have to play it at cyberspeed :-): "As far as possible" ...

  • John Bull composed it, Richard Ellsasser apparently arranged it for pipe organ, and last I heard Schmitt Music in Minneapolis, MN was selling the sheet music. Good luck!

  • John Bull predated Johann Sebastian Bach by at least a century. This piece, which is magnificent on the organ, was orignally written for the virginals. It's very likely that Good Queen Bess played this piece, and it's very typical of music of the Elizabethan era. Some friends of mine had it played as the recessional at their wedding twenty years ago. It's a great piece of music.

  • keanur1- Repetitive, yes. That is how the rondeau is constructed. But you know that. Stupid? To so vigorously denigrate a piece of music just because it does not agree with your particular tastes is stupid. Granted, it does not have the complexities of Bach but the piece does illustrate the operation and beautiful sounds that the instrument is capable of. Not to mention the skills of the organist. Bad taste? From you scalding remarks you have demonstrated an abundance.

  • i am only agreeing with this comment about it being perhaps a bit repetitive, but otherwise a fun sounding piece. i love it

  • what a super rendition! beautiful!

  • As far as I know the american organist Richard Ellsasser (1926 - 1972?) has arranged (and probably composed) this nice piese of music, perhaps referring to John Bull.

  • What a beautiful organ, and the player is having a blast. Oh, how I wish I were him.

  • That is a pretty song

    Well Done !!!

  • BRAVO!

  • WOW!! I wish I could play like that.

  • on rotterdam, st. Laurenschurch

  • Lovely!! where is the church?

  • Love the melody! Great composition.

  • That is a great piece, one that will surely keep the congregation awake! Who is the composer?

  • It's from John Bull

  • In stadskanaal "poststraat kerk" staat een prachtig orgel Rens..

  • Wonderful performance of a wonderful composition!
