  • Aaaah thank you so much! But does that mean that "something - (- something)" ALLWAYS becomes "something + (+ something)"?

  • I thought this was so hard, but you make it so easy to u derstand.! Thank you...!

  • waw !!

  • Well i found my new teacher on youtube. XD

  • Damn So hot i cant handle it any more...:D Got Facebook?

  • Here is a quick fact:

You could draw a smiley face from the 7 - (- 2 And place a little U shape on the - ( - so you could see a two pluses for the eyes, a nose, and a smiling mouth :)

  • I watch these now to see if I can somehow understand what baffled me at a younger age... I sure as hell wish I would have put my nose to the grindstone on math/algrebra skills, it's the most important subject in the 21st century. I should have worked my way up to Trigonometry and Calculus so I could be a god tier chemist or programmer. Oh well, it's either learn now or continue to be a failure of society...

  • smile damn it!!!

  • 0:17 to start the tutorial :)

  • @chocopapet You're a good person

  • wow, they made a video on such an easy equation lol

  • @PS3CommunityGaming everyone has to learn dipshit

  • @PS3CommunityGaming = im bad at math .. so this helps.. and im going to 9th grade next year.. so i wanna LEARN all my math so i know wat im doing..

  • Gotta love the awkward pause at the end... : /

  • :D this seems easy ; but why isn't it in school ?

    lol

  • if you are clever you can easily do that in your head without changing any signs, this whole process is very silly and over complicated.

  • nicely done very simple

  • ಠ_ಠ She looks like a real bitch >:O

  • wtf cant you just say 7 minus 2? why make it complicated?

  • @myday96

    That's not what it's saying.

  • @myday96 you're so right.

  • @myday96 because 7 minus 2 is not the same as -7 + 2.... 7 - 2 = 5, which is incorrect.... however she could have just said 2 -7 = -5 which is the correct answer.

  • ಠ_ಠಠ_ಠಠ_ಠಠ_ಠಠ_ಠಠ_ಠ

  • Thanks. For these clips you should include what age it is aimed at..... I'm year (secret) and this is really simple but younger years might not be able to comprehend it so easily. Does anyone agree?

  • @daydreamer8196

i agree, this may be basic to people with grasp of algebra, its not basic at all for beginers.

  • What? im in 5

  • Why change -2 to +2?

  • minus * minus = plus

    - * (-2) = +2

  • because a negative is a minus. ex. 1 + -1 = 0

  • because minus & minus makes plus

    in signs: - and - makes +

you have to fuse the minus after the seven with the minus after the brace

  • because a negative and a negative = a positive =D

  • jeffnationaltrade, the reason two negatives make a positive is because we are SUBTRACTING -2. Subtraction always takes us toward 0 on the number line and addition takes us away from 0. So if I say -7 + -2 we move away from 0 because we are adding and get -9. If we say -7 - -2, then we move toward the 0 and get -5. I hope it helps.

  • I need some help here. I just started teaching myself algrebra from a book and I don't get a part. It says A=l * b square centimeters. And it says to change to meters just do A = l * b over 10, 000.

The l*b is over 10,000 and looks like a fraction any help? So how would u caculate it? Dividing doesn't seem right... I just started teaching myself algebra and is stuck on this for about like two days.

  • thanks you just made that seem so simple
