I had the funny fast heartbeat thing when I was pregnant. My OBGYN said it just sometimes happens and not to worry unless it happens more than 6 times a minute!

i had a similar issue with the heart beat thing. My dr said it could be related to my thyroid. Definitely ask your doctor.

The irregular hear beat is a murmur and you are right that it comes from extra blood. It is a nasty pregnancy symptom that some women get. I had it so bad when i was pregnant, i felt like i was falling every time i would lie down. It did clear up for me when i was closer to the third trimester.

I have a heart murmur that you can not really hear unless I am pregnant, and I also get those heart palps that you get. I can almost guarentee that you probably have a heart murmur that sometimes show up when you are preggo and are totally harmless and normal. :)

I had tachycardia like that when I was pregnant with my first - it can be stress related too and would happen to me randomly when I wasn't doing anything either lol. They didn't do anything about it since it didn't stay like that.

this is interesting ! I think my sis would love this. BUt she isnt preggy yet- been trying for a year now. Is it wrong to get that as a present for someone who is trying and has a 4 yrs old? I had that same heart beat issue when I was pregnant with Eddie...It scared me so much that I went into my family Doctore asap. She said it was totally normal and that it is indeed the extra blood flow during pregnancy. My OB later agreed and said "totally normal" at my next appt with her. So....of course you should ask but hopefully this gives you some peace of mind in the mean time:)

I am so happy for you, Glad your morning sickness is fading, and that irregular heartbeat is from your increased blood flow & also as my doc told me it could also be anxiety, for one it's the holidays & stress is there even if you do not feel it. But i was told it was a combination of both anxiety & increase blood flow, so it's normal, but of course ask your Doctor. I am super excited to see you set up the other room if your having a boy, yay, congrats to you & Kyle again!!!
