try emulating f zero gx,i get full speed in 720p, couldn't record it tough managed 480p(ive got phenom ii x4 970 3.5ghz be ,try running mp3c,i get crashes too often 5mins in game and a random crash
If you set frameskip to 1, does it still feel like you're playing it in slowmotion (like it does now, since it's below 60 FPS)? I'm considering getting this CPU, the Phenom II X4 965 to be exact (kinda the same, 3.4GHZ instead of 3.2GHZ), and I can live with 30 FPS. Thank you!
@SuperKiraGamer2 yeah, but then again - a new PC is useful for a lot more things than just playing wii games, being able to play other consoles games is just a bonus; and purchasing a console means having to purchase all the games you want to play too, add all that up over time and its prolly just as much money
you know for dolphin 2.0 do you have to use a real controller cus i keep getting "can't init any pad plugis" and "couldn't init the core" and I have Directx11, Windows 7 and I have made sure everything including my graphics card is up to date!
@psidos i managed to get it to run at 30-45 fps and if i tun off the sound lol it goes from 45-55 lol, but i dont think a faster cpu will improve i think the emulator just needs to improve in performance. cus my pc is able to play new games like assassins creed 2 and just cause 2 at max settings.
@elpicos8091 No, you need a better computer. Don't base emulator performance on whether or not you can play retail games. Emulators are several times less efficient than the actual console at running the games. You need WAY more computer power to run emulated games than games that are made for the PC. There are computers capable of running this game at full speed, but you're right - the emulator needs to improve also, and it will.
@elpicos8091 ur emulating here, not just playing pc games, a phenom 955 @4ghz isnt enough te emulate at full speed games like mario galaxy with dsp-le enabled, 5ghz maybe
@psidos New build only slowdown the speed ,I test many revision until now 5186 and 4771 still the fastest and most stable for game (this was discussed in the google code and forum many times)
@psidos Speed is pretty good for an emulation. And I didn't hear any sound gliches. I would probably try to emulate this game, if I haven't got a wii :). I love Super Mario Galaxy, and SMG 2.
@Gyzyn It is possible to run this game full speed but you'll need an Intel Core i7 and eventually overclocked to get no slowdowns. I got a Wii too, just testing the speed.
long job dude xD

@11Supersonic11 you could get a wii for how much you would spend money on a new CPU

You could probably get full speed on your setup if you OC'd to 3.6-3.8.

When I try to run a game in Dolphin I keep getting this message:
"Can't Init the PAD Plugins" and "Couldn't init the core"
I have DirectX 11, I don't know what the problem is, can anyone please PLEASE PLEASE help me?
Miles52431 1 year ago
is there anyway to keep it at 60 FPS? cus if it goes lower than that the game starts to slow down.

@elpicos8091 You will need a more powerful CPU.

It's like in slow motion. Game was design to work on 60 frames per secound. Pretty good emulation.
Gyzyn 1 year ago
@Gyzyn Yep, it's indeed slow motion speed. I will re-upload a video in a month or so with a new build, see if the speed has increased. :)
