I have an HTC HD2 that I am trying to connect to my desktop which runs on XP. I get as far as pressing "Connect" on my phone and the status stays stuck on "check USB Cable Connection" and I can't get any further. Is there any actions I need to take on my PC first (add a network, turn off the firewall, etc)? Please e-mail me at garcia5314@gmail.com Thanks
Never mind!!! I figured it out! For some reason the Internet sharing program I have on my all programs section doesn't work but when I get a different one found in the windows file, it works fine. Thanks for the inspiration?
I did the same thing and nothing happens on my phone. I have T-mobile and an unlimited data plan. I install active sync on the laptop and when i connect my phone my laptop recognizes it but doesn't connect when I click connect. It just fads as if it's going to try to connect then it lights up again. No error. Nothing. Help!
i have the htc touch pro 2 for sprint and i cant get it to work

Doyou have to plug in using usb or can you do this wireless like a wireless router?

@brhayward74 im pretty sure you can use bluetooth if ur laptop has bluetooth
