Jednom smo svi bili braca... jos uvjek smo, svagdje se sirimo, ziveo jedinstvo, ziveo diverzitet, svi zajedno protiv rata, protiv fasizam i protiv kapitalizam... FUCK the politicians, fuck the USA
you know, despite all the conflicts and wars, when i hear this song, i feel a unity with all the peoples of Balkan. Religion, ethnicity and nationality becomes irrelevant. We should be proud of our Balkan and stop the hate.
Let's try to combine our knowledge and put the pieces of this song together :D This is what I've managed to collect for now... Help me out, guys ^^ part 1: Диљано моме, Диљано, Подари лице убаво, Убаво како сонцето И како небото на Балканот. Балкански моми игра, Балкански момци пеат, Од сите мамо таленти Сакам уште малку памет.
I was born in balkans , i m fed up with the lies now i walk the road(s) to find the truth i sing whereever i've been i dont laugh neither cry but i try to tell the truth
Ja kroz Bosnu ne pjevam, kroz Srbiju ne sviram, kroz Hrvatsku ne igram >>>
I'm not singing around Bosnia, I'm not playing around Serbia, around Croatia I'm not singing
Bulgarian Part:
"Ne znam kade prebivavam, po Evropa se ebavam, no kadeto da patuvam, za Balkana vse taguvam" >>> "I don't know where I live, I f*uck up around Europe, but wherever I go, I always miss the Balkans"
Nice translation, but you've missed the bosnian part.
Ja kroz Bosnu ne pjevam, kroz Srbiju ne sviram, kroz Hrvatsku ne igram >>>
I'm not singing around Bosnia, I'm not playing around Serbia, around Croatia I'm not *dancing*
IDK if you're familiar with it, but "igrati se" is both playing and dancing in Serbian. Listen to "Igra rock'n'roll cijela Jugoslavija" => Whole Yugoslavia is DANCING to r'n'r, not "playing" to it.
Macedonian translation>...Diljano mome bla bla, (to razumete) ...Of all of my talents i woulld like more brains ("od site mamo talenti sakam uste malku pamet") :))))
vay be, yerli malı yurdun malı dediler, sevdim bu grubu. bildiğim tek ecnebiceyle means:
there are turkish words in the song such as "yerli malı yurdun malı" which means "the local product is the homeland's product" and "anatolia nasıl dersen" which means "anatolia how do you call it." hahaha. I love this band.

part 5:
Στα Βαλκάνια γεννήθηκα,
Aπό το ψέμα βαρέθηκα,
Tώρα δρόμους περπατώ,
Tην αλήθεια για να πω.
Όπου πάω τραγουδώ,
ούτε κλαίω ούτε γελάω,
όμως πάντα προσπαθώ,
την αλήθεια να σας πω.

that is the excellence of kultur shock. reaching every one of the balkan people (and further, of course).
gathering us together here with our own languages and translation attempts to reach one another.
enthusiastic, i must say.

translation of what i have:
"of Nasreddin (Hodja), of Mevlana
we should sing their songs
if you say how's Anatolia
it's of our own, it's of our land.
Where are the Turks...
Over Anatolia
Here's a land of...
Where you don't lack a greeting"
I'll try to get some more...
