I love the horned headress, reminds me of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, I love Elizabethan costumes, they are so elegant and dramatic! love the rich colors too. I am so Elizabethan! I have pale skin, red hair and blue eyes! you don't get much more Elizabethan than that! HA HA!
if you are reffering to the elizabethian period, why do you show pictures of an 1860s and 18th century corsett, approx. 1750s stomacher and medival ladies hats etc. the pictures cover a timeperiod of about 500 years....and the music is nice but also not elizabethian.... a litte confusing - don´t you think? no offence ;o)
@WIngsInMyEyes very. imagine wearing 4 skirts/pairs of pants, 3 shirts, one very thick pair of socks and boots, with a jacket on top. and the shirts were scratchy.
You've mixed various centuries. The horned headdresses for instance are from the 1300s not the Elizabethan period.

@zatzme100 Very true. The stomacher would have been from the Georgian era.

MORON!!! The hennin was worn about 200 years earlier! Argh...
misscatalina711 1 year ago 2
@misscatalina711 Yes, she's a total moron, because knowing the era where a hennin was worn is obviously common knowledge that everyone should know.

You are confusing people with different ages, that are not in any way part of Elizabeth's time period.
#1. Hats- You show Henins which are from the 1300's to the 1400's not within Elizabeth's reign at all.
#2. Stomachers came very late in Elizabeth's reign closer to 1610 as coming into fashion.
#3. You show a Kirtle from her Father's Time.
Many things are muddled and you make it look like every piece of clothing was worn at the same time! No forepart needed if you wore a Kirtle.
