Yes! America's economy is shrinking. It has done so in the past as well. It has also been known to grow exponentially at times. Can you name one country that has not had an economic recession or growth spurt in the past. I myself am not to worried about such things as they always tend to balance themselves out with time.

This time is different for a number of reasons, but I remain hopefull. Just because the population has to borrow our way to happiness, doesn't mean the gov has to help us along faster. We're pretty good at getting in debt ourselves and then thinking it's all good. It just further delays the inevitable, but whatever. Won't be my kids paying for it. Just stupid to pay interest to the fat bankers when you could be paying yourself. Duh.

As far as people going into debt with credit cards, well that has nothing to do with me considering I don't have any nor will I ever have any I have always paied for everything I own In cash.
