What is up with you people who say that PoP4 has awful graphics? I love the style, story and that Ubisoft tried something new! And in may oppinion there was no need for PoP The Forgotten Sands...I mean the triogy was already ended...I would rather see a 2nd PoP 4 ^^

U lolz can't u see the sands of time was only a trilogy and this is not the prince of persia u remembe. If u didn't see that this game has no name of smthing like that. the character is new, new combat, new monsters, new quests... Does anyone knows the flute music when prince turns the area green (curropted to normal). The same music is played in prison break season 1 episode 1, when warden shows scofield the wooden taj mahal. I think it must be a complete music track. PLEASE REPLY.
this prince is good. My favourite tho is the warrior within together with the whole game :P. Still i dont say this is bad... its really good actually, although this kind of graphics get me tired after a while...

the best of Prince of Persia Games, is Warrior Whithin, the free style combos, the music, the adrenaline of being pursuit by dahaka, mor violence, is the best, dont know why Ubisoft chanche so much the concept of that games, even forgoten sands is a little poor of that things graphics are amazing but, you can only do 1 combo :(

This isn't part 4 of prince of persia. This is the fourth prince of persia, but the story takes place between the 1 and the 2. Thats what i read from the official game info.

this one is a bit different from the other series and its unique in its own way....coz it has 2d-ish graphics and have a bit different style of gameplay.....but i should not say it sucked......but the forgotten sands REALLY kick butt!!..the graphics are nice....gameplay's awesome....added some new features.....seriously awesome....

I agree with you. But the problem with this game is not that it doesn't have gore, sex or whatever. The problem is that this game is repetitive. There were great games (Sands Of Time) and are great games (Batman AA) which are awesome without the gore,sex etc.
I believe if they(Ubisot) put effort like they did for AC 2 we will def have a great sequel for this one.

Dude that way even SOT was repetitive. Even WW was repetitive. Every game in this world has to be repetitive cuz the developer has to repeat stuffs in order to complete a game in 2 years. Else each game will like take a decade (like they did with Half Life 2 lol).
The best games have the trick of being repetitive but not showing so....T2T may have been repetitive but it was damn fast paced and the length was pretty short too. Also there was no repetition of bosses like in POP 2008.

good concept, love the story of the game, but bad excecution. Good points liked the art style thought it was interesting , the story loved it thought it was good , the combat system was different kinda reminded me of assassins creed. The bad points can only fight 1 person at a time thought that was really wierd, u cant die makes for a very easy game i like a challenge, boss fights werent that difficult they looked cool but didnt offer a challenge, ill give the game a 3.5/5

Yeah that's what this game is. Thank god ubisoft has gone back to the SOT series. Forgotten Sands may or may not be the best POP but it will definitely be more enjoyable than this game.....

When i play Prince of Persia 4, after 10-15 minutes computer restarts. Any idea why?

This isn't part 4. It's a completely different storyline. It's a stand alone game.

This game was pretty fun, the platforming is really well done. I wish Assassin's Creed 2 had this type of platforming system.

this one blows cuz its nothing like the other prince of persias. its all diiferent and u cant even die almost. some fuck just comes and saves u if you fall off something and the enemies are just pussies and they run away.

WRONG, this is the number 8, the no 4. is not in CD format, its an old game and the 1-4 series is 2D the 3D version starts at no.5 wich is the sands of time!

@hudini2 i actaully got a life, i play like only in the weekend... and it makes me a little mad about peoples saying this is the 4th just because "they have only played trough the sands of time, warrior within and the two thrones..."
they havent even tried out the 2d versions like fire and shadow, prince of persia 3D, etc...

this one is a bit different from the other series and its unique in its own way....coz it has 2d-ish graphics and have a bit different style of gameplay.....but i should not say it sucked......but the forgotten sands REALLY kick butt!!..the graphics are nice....gameplay's awesome....added some new features.....seriously awesome....

Yeah dude. Forgotten Sands is gonna kick as. Especially CHECK OUT THE GRAPHICS at PAX EAST VIDEO. Man they did a lot of last minute changes even to his Jack Black Face. He no longer looks like Jack Black and looks more like Prince Of Persia.......

Of course, most 'gamers' this days don't appreciate a game with a good story line and decent graphics.
They wan't a game where your player must DIE in the most painful way imaginable, lots of gore, a lot of sexual themes and maybe a naked Persian girl or two, it's pretty sad
At least you should give them credit for trying something new before you judge....I AM AGREE WITH YOU!!!

I agree with you. But the problem with this game is not that it doesn't have gore, sex or whatever. The problem is that this game is repetitive. There were great games (Sands Of Time) and are great games (Batman AA) which are awesome without the gore,sex etc.
I believe if they(Ubisot) put effort like they did for AC 2 we will def have a great sequel for this one.

Dude that way even SOT was repetitive. Even WW was repetitive. Every game in this world has to be repetitive cuz the developer has to repeat stuffs in order to complete a game in 2 years. Else each game will like take a decade (like they did with Half Life 2 lol).
The best games have the trick of being repetitive but not showing so....T2T may have been repetitive but it was damn fast paced and the length was pretty short too. Also there was no repetition of bosses like in POP 2008.

I think PC requirements same as Assassin's Creed 2. Same engine and same version of the engine..
Damn platforming in AC 2 was annoying a bit. I hope POP doesn't loses its fluidity it had in the SOT Trilogy.

this game is different from the Sands of Time series. This game is the first of its own series.

good concept, love the story of the game, but bad excecution. Good points liked the art style thought it was interesting , the story loved it thought it was good , the combat system was different kinda reminded me of assassins creed. The bad points can only fight 1 person at a time thought that was really wierd, u cant die makes for a very easy game i like a challenge, boss fights werent that difficult they looked cool but didnt offer a challenge, ill give the game a 3.5/5

Yeah that's what this game is. Thank god ubisoft has gone back to the SOT series. Forgotten Sands may or may not be the best POP but it will definitely be more enjoyable than this game.....

this game is bad! do you ppl remember how gory POP warrior within was? now it looks like some cartoon looking game. i really hate it when the game has really sucessful sequels then it just get's fucked. it happens in every game. change the story,characters but keeps the same gameplay.

i bet someone went to Ubisoft and said i have a cheap game with worthless graphics but you might like it, with a good name it can sell a lot, so they named it Prince of Persia although the storyline has nothing to do with the originals and the gameplay (specially the fights) suck ass

This game suck rly bad... always the same enemy, always the same map, always the same fucking thing. But the worst is that you need to collect like 100 little light balls every time you want to go further in the game... dont buy it...
