Still got an original copy. Been riding bikes since I was 4 and i'm 35 now and to this day when I see some mug with all the gear and no idea I'm well givin it Mulga Bill. Hahahahahahahahaaaaa I love this poem, so poigniant and totally timeless. classic Mate : )

Kentucky South Public school N.S.W Australia 1970.We had to memorise this poem word for word and if we made a mistake our teacher,Mr Allan Doring,would give us the cane on our hand. But try as you did to destroy any love for our poetry,AJAX I love Mulga Bill and can get through most of it.Imagine hitting a nine year old boy for not being able to recite a poem.We copped it weekly if not daily and you did not break our spirit.We called you AJax doring and hopefully you are stewing in Hell
