  • Anna, you have become such a charismatic speaker! I've never seen anybody grasp the system concept of stuttering so effectively and then put that knowledge to such effective use. Thanks for posting the talk. I'm going to refer lots of people to it.

  • Yes, I decided not to mention hexagon, just talk about stuttering being a system, because I didn't want people to get confused. Hard to explain in 8 minutes:) Notice that I blocked on a word "stutetring" - such a magical power this word has over us. Neurosemantics in work. We mistake a word for an object itself and project our fears on it.

  • Great stuff! The way you are able to pace yourself throughout your talk is amazing. I liked the bit about stuttering being a system of seperate components. Every day I write down what the six points of the stuttering hexagon are so I can keep it memorized. Here goes... The six points of the stuttering hexagon are, - Beliefs - Intentions - Perceptions - Emotions - Behaviours - Physiological Responses
