Personally i wouldnt go with the 280z... ugly and to much "modern" shit in it. a 240 or 260 is going to be easier to work with. just dont break the break lines... they are bitch to replace i had do do it to mine.

you DO know that the 280z is the EXACT SAME BODY as the 240/260z, with just some structural strengthening. All three are still body designation S30. it wasn't until 1979 when they came out with the S130 280ZX that the body changed.

@takulovesanime the 240z the 260z and the 280z are the exact same fucking car. the body suspension and power train are almost identical. The ONLY difference between the 280z and the 240-260z are the bumpers and even then only in America. Every where else in the world the 280z got 260z bumpers. Also little known fact as big and as bulky as the American 280z bumper is it is actually a better air splitter and will improve down-force.

@takulovesanime 260z and 280z have the same exact dash, the seats from the 240-280z are also the same seats the only difference is upholstrey. The Bumpers, don't like em take em off, they were only designed for the american Market anyway. the 280z for the rest of the world remained the 260z.

The 260 also has the same dash as the 280 except with the exception of the utterly retarded choke levers they insisted on installing on 260's. As for the bumpers the only thing keeping them on is 8 bolts. The seats are the exact same seats as any 240 or 260 and even an option on the 510's and wagon's, the only differences are upholstery. But besides that the seats are utter crap anyways and nothing to be proud of.
