As I watched Revan one of the greatest video game characters and hero's of my childhood explode into nothing at the hands of a few nameless mmo characters I felt my childhood die and my faith in the entire starwars Franchise die. Revan is assumed to have used the technique Fold Space at the end to escape, where he learned the technique is beyond me. Perhaps when he was constantly communicating with the Dark Lord's mind did he find it, but it's questionable as to why the Emperor never used it to save himself. I love Revan, but it sort of sickens me to see him either die and be looted just the same as a womp rat or to pull off some anime stuff that isn't Star Wars.
You're NOT just a group of random guys though. Each of the class storylines end up with you being a serious badass. It makes sense that such a group could challenge a weakened Revan.

@Torment87 Just like all Bioware games, there is "canon" story. In SWTOR, the "canon" story for this flashpoint is on the Republic side. You are guided by Meetra Surik to free Revan and bring him safely to republic space. He does not die and instead, is off to continue to build his army to defeat the Empire. He will be back.

Why didn't he just split the droids among the Republic army? Or use them as reinforcements? Enough lords in the Dark Council are more than willing to backstab the Emperor.......so he should've just used all of that to topple the emperor and name himself the new emperor and have the empire join the republic..........

New report they still haven't agreed on the plot of the new revan game, but they all want to have you start the game playing revan and face these four. They still beat Revan, but you get away by using force fold. Also what is unconfirmed report is that if you played swtor the way it was meant to be played you don't kill the emperor at the end. Thats where you come in as Revan and beat him, and talk to the Exile as well. All things are pointing that Revan will hunt down Scourge, and sith for this

I gotta say, I am a bit disappointed on how they decided to finish off revan. he was, imo, the coolest character of the whole kotor-stwor saga.

Revan talks too much here, compared to face off with Bastila on command bridge where he just drew lightsaber and prepared silently... Here he rambles on like some self righteous emo.... and at the end of battle he DIES. Period. That last sentance makes you 160% sure he dies, as he remembers his greates friend and enemy, Malak, in the end.

If they would want revan to be dead they would show his body.
They just left open door for the future, and people wanted Revan. They have Revan, rest will be later ; P read wookiepedia, he could use force power to escape.
Other possibility - someone, somehow did something like summoned him somehow, because was feeling that he is dying. Satele Shan for example. Or Lord Scourge. Or anybody else.

Anyway, watch the Republic version its a lot better. Somethings fishy about this revan. He may have split personalities, or this isnt the real revan...it may be some trick of the emperor i dunno, cant play swtor to my misfortune

I gotta say, I am a bit disappointed on how they decided to finish off revan. he was, imo, the coolest character of the whole kotor-stwor saga.
and i agree with everyone who says he's dead. although i'd like to think he survived, revan isn't a coward and it would seem cowardly if he decided to teleport out. although it was an honorable death, it wasn't as epic as i had expected. i guess after 300 yrs, revan would be a lot weaker, but i had hoped for something different i guess.

Revan talks too much here, compared to face off with Bastila on command bridge where he just drew lightsaber and prepared silently... Here he rambles on like some self righteous emo.... and at the end of battle he DIES. Period. That last sentance makes you 160% sure he dies, as he remembers his greates friend and enemy, Malak, in the end.

THey vanish and become one with the force. Your opinion i flawed in every way. If Revan said it simply because he is teleporting (running) from battle, it would mean spitting on Malak, and making the takeover of foundry not his honorable defeat, but a cowardly retreat from battle. He lives on, surely, in the force.

@blaster2187 Maybe for some. But a large part of our love for Revan was based on love for ourselves. KOTOR was masterfully made, we felt like we WERE Revan. He had no voice, because his voice was ours. But does Bioware care? No. They don't ask our opinion and piss on our dreams and imaginations. How do you go from saying Revan was "like the Heart of the Force" and "a brilliant tactician" and "savior, conqueror, hero, villain" and then kill him off so easily? I DEMAND this be made non-canon!
