@boonyatae Khmer have been dancing since the Funan period which started in 100 AD.Buddhism does not promote dance culture. Khmer believed in Hinduism and dancing was a big part of Hinduism. Lord Shiva danced danced to create and destroy the world. Since Khmer kings considered themselves as god kings, they made their earth living as the images of the gods. Dancing played a big part in the royal court- entertainment as well as for rituals, praying, and to appease the gods.

Angkor Wat Temple was built for Hindu Khmer people and Pagodas were built for Buddhism Khmer people. Our Pagodas are existed long before Thai royal palace, Siam copied from our Khmer Pagodas wall painting and even go stealing Laos emerald Buddha the one was given to Lao King by Cambodia King. You never talked about Khmer helping Siam many times from the MOngol and from Burma.

Khmer ruled the entire SEA and Khmer built everything as at height. Siam copied from Khmer everything especially when Burma destroying Siam many times. There were only Emerald Buddha from Sri Lanka given to Khmer Prince Dhamlin, a great Khmer Buddhist Prince. Khmer King gave one to Laos King and another one still stayed in Cambodia Royal Palace today. Siam never protected Khmer from Viet, Siam and Viet always wanted to steal Khmer land but they were all lost to France & Britain.

Can any one tell me if khmer coppy thai why most ot thai letters were modify from khmer letters, khmer can easily to read thai letter cost it's simlar to khmer letter just only thai letter are wihtout cap, but thai can't read khmer. I was so surprised one day i use Taxi in bangkok found that all Pali word in front of Taxi head wrote in khmer round letter. How every one think who coppy who??

If you go SAK YANT website you can see Khmer alphabets and Khmer numerals using by Thai and Thai can't even read and they claimed as Thai. Remember Bangkok is Khmer name meaning the Lake Grass that Thai tried to change to Krong Tep meaning Angel but was refused by the westerners.

When I watched Royal Thai Dancing, I can feel that they should impress me much more than this, to compare with several videos of Royal Khmer Dancing here, it impresses me very much. I can feel the spirit of dancing showing on the fingers, hands, body, eyes not just try to act to be similar.... I don't blame on Thai but I just want to ask all you Thai guys, please be appreciate and honor to the Original as respect.

I am Thai but I agree with you this is absolutely ORIGINAL. We Thai have been receiving the style of dancing, clothing and several styles of these dancing from Khmer. I can say this is real Khmer Original undoubtedly since I have been watching so many videos of Royal Khmer Dancing. Shame on my people that try to blame on you but actually they're blaming themselves. For several fake Thai histories that the Thai Kids have been learning in school...many real things are hidden.
