That's some amazing scat singing there, granted he's not playing as fast as many play these licks, nonetheless keeping up vocally with his fingers without missing any notes during the solos has got to be rough.

And his rhythm is impeccable, no doubt.

Played for years with his dad Bucky (John Sr.) Though Bucky doesnt sing, the playing is identical. John Jr. studied at the feet of the master. Bucky is 85 years young and still going strong.....Plays on lots of John Jr.'s albums.

the 7 string adds a really nice warmth to it, the scatting + the playing is so ridiculously good and the chord soloing is so fricken cool and unbelievably clean. Most importantly, the music sounds great and it swings! Ok enough compliments! Just listen and enjoy.
