  • Couldn't be because most subsonic ammo won't cycle a semi-auto? ;)

  • what means fully supressed? do you mean internally?

  • id try the new ruger factory 25 rd mag it runs like a charm

  • should have spend more time on the action then the suppressor

  • thats no louder than an airsoft or bb gun, good job man

  • I love guns!!! they r beast

  • hâha_biñ_sûpèr_ÐrÅuf_grÃdë_súcht_mÂl_ÁÙf_gÒÖglê_ñÀch:_geldeasy_Es_kläppt_wîË_gEschmIért

  • i would love to shoot someone with that gun but i cant hahahahahaha

  • That is one sexy looking rifle! :-)

I just got my 10/22 a few days ago, i put a suppressor on it, but i feel that i might want to customize or, or at least change the stock.

Might order one from the states, but its such a hassle.

Though it will probably be worth the wait!

  • thats something ted nuget would have

  • @claymann89 ted nuget has ten.

  • The jamming happens with the federal rounds. Mine does it every time I use them

  • @SuperAnimekid the federal rounds are the ones that work for me! remington sucks and winchester is Okay

  • what light you got on there?

  • @theswimer419 - it's a surefire generic copy - twice the lumens and half the price!

  • nastyyyyy

  • instead of cleaning gun, mags, or ect you should try cleaning your goat

  • get that goat

  • aparently you have haters. I think it is really cool. Everyone who is popular has haters. I wonder if our opressive guber ment would consider your entire barrel a silencer. I'm just wondering. I'd like to have one for an ultimate rabbit and squirll slayer. I just purchased a ruger 10 22 no questions asked 150 dollars cash. So all these gun laws don't work and firearms are good. People who try to take my firearms are the ones who need to study up on the history of America and our republic.

  • custom silencer or what brand and how much was ur full auto conversion kit did u also use subsonic ammo??

  • @Forbidenangel0 - The whole barrel is suppressed & ported along the whole length. So customised yes. This is not full auto - semi auto only. CCI subsonic ammo used. Thanks.

  • @andycranch ha thats anunusual way of doing it i mean iv never even seen a ported barel ull have to take an upclose video of this rifle seems amazing but hows it fair with standard ammo

  • If anyone gives you shit about that gun jamming, all you gotta say is three words. "It's a .22"

  • That was a creepy hahahahahahha at the end

  • tit tit tit tit

  • i like the paint job man! I t custom? did you make it?

  • @CHOSENMARINE - We call it Arctic camo - local gunsmith did it with a durocoat kit.

  • Looks like those subs don't cycle too well in that Ruger.

  • your face is priceless at the end lol. I laughed

  • you no fps.

  • you dont know anything .... i made that rifle and the rounds ...... i know

  • @soldier6665 - Exactly! I'm only going by what you told me.... :-)

  • @soldier6665 You made the Ruger 10/22 rifle? And you made the "rounds"? Lol..you're an idiot. go watch some meatspin.com and stop wasting time on youtube. You know nothing about firearms.

  • I think i am going to sit here and argue with you (the poster). you obviously have no idea what that is. I mean- its not like it is in your hands or anything. I have a lot better view here on my computer

  • @rbowen47 - Classic - glad some of you have a sense of humor!!!

  • That is definately fully suppressed, it's just the mechanism from the semi-auto rifle that makes a click noise.

  • No way thats only subsonic rounds. The muzzle blast would still be pretty loud. The rifle is suppressed.

  • i like the paint job :)

  • You know, havng an argument with people who don't share your opinion is like putting lipstick on a pig. It's a waste of time, and annoys the pig.

  • cool

  • I FOUND WORLD'S FASTEST FULL-AUTO RUGER 10/22 RIFLE. Take look at this wild thing on my YouTube. It's crazy fast! lol !

  • @dakotakid10 - mate you are talking shit - it is a fully suppressed custom 10/22 - I built it and filmed it so you would think I know what the rifle is.....

  • ok some umm mentally challenged or deaf people below me dont think this is suppressed. umm even if he shot subsonic ammo through a NON supressed gun youd still hear. and you can CLEARLY see the suppreser on the end

  • Sweet how much would a suppressor like that cost we've got a license but don't know a price.

  • x Hi Dad :P x

  • hes got low volicty rounds its not supperssed

  • Of course it's suppressed you idiot! And I am using low velocity rounds (CCI Subsonic) - how can you justify making a comment like that?

  • Good work! nice gun

  • for a "fully suppressed" .22 i am not impressed. maybe its the way the camera picked up the sound but the snap was still pretty sharp

  • The snap is from the bolt and the report of the round hitting the bank.

  • maybe a thicker lubricant will help to silence the action of the bolt by a few decibels?. i have definitely noticed that the extended plastic 10/22 mags tend to produce an echo like noise that really says "i'm over here!" which basically allows the opposition to pinpoint your location even worse than a standard rifle crack. because of that they are not the best option for sound suppression, unless you just plan on having enough rounds to end it before it begins if you know what i mean...

  • @hyaendie - what "opposition"? If your going into combat with a 10/22 I think an "echo like noise" that gives away your location is the least of your problems! #1 namely being that you went into battle with a goddamn .22!

  • @andycranch a camera mic never picks up sound well enough for people to hear what a suppressed firearm really sounds like. Everyone who has never shot a suppressed 22 always thinks they should sound like they do in the movies because movies are real....right??

  • redryder93, he said "a buck a shot" not "is buckshot."

he was referring to the price of the round

  • michael 7252, 30-06 is not a buckshot. buckshot is SHOT... for SHOTGUNS. 30-06 is a rifle round.

  • I was replying to another comment about about how .22's suck and was talking about the cost effectiveness of .22's. If you had read my comment you'd see I was in no way saying a 30-06 was buckshot but cost about a buck (Dollar dumbass) per shot

  • @redryder93 tard

  • I didn't hear the sheep after firing the weapon, should we be concerned?

  • that thing sounds and isn't much louder than a paintball gun, prettty cool

  • How is this thing cycling rounds? I'm sure it's been asked before, but I haven't seen any vids where a 10/22 will cycle...

  • This rifle usually (as in since I posted this a couple years back) cycles without a hitch. CCI subsonic ammo is what I use. The suppressed barrel is also ported which helps alot.

  • try using the Aguila SSS Sniper Subsonic Ammunition 22 Long Rifle 60 Grain Lead Round...reliable as hell & it's about the only sub-sonic .22 cal i've found that'll take down a deer...if you've got good enough placement

  • did you make the suppresor or did you go through are awesome legal system and buy one?

  • This was custom made here in New Zealand. We don't need any special license for suppressors here.

  • also France if you can believe it, supressors are legal too, sucks the media and ignorant people make getting one in the USA difficult

  • What stock is that?

  • If you have heard it all before.....why not just clean the poor rifle?

  • You loser - a video is a moment in time - of course I cleaned the f'n rifle minutes after I shot this clip! Come out from under that rock....... This was shot a couple years ago. Or are you not aware that one cannot travel back in time yet???

  • nice gun.

god i wish suppressors were legal in canada

  • why aren't they?

that's retarded they are legal in New Zealand and our gov is real tight.

  • Yeah our govt thinks they will be used in crimes...

  • Well, our respective governments tend to trust citizens more than criminals. Some other governing bodies quite literally trust criminals more! It's sad really.

  • Well demand it from your representatives or fucking fire their asses.Canadians are trustworthy enough for this.

  • Not that easy, otherwise it would have been done already. Our Canadian government is not nearly as lenient with gun laws as Americans. We're lucky to be even allowed to own fire arms. The fact is that there simply isn't a large gun and powerful gun lobby in Canada to represent firearms interests such as there are in the states. (the NRA) There is a lot of anti gun sentiment here. Most of it comes from liberal fucks who don't know anything about firearms

  • It is hard to bring about change. You said,"We're lucky to be even allowed to own fire arms." To that i say you body of representative need to feel lucky that THEY have that privilege. You would do well to join a existing pro gun lobby in Canada, surely there must be one?Warmest regards-Molanlabexm15

  • They'll talk about gun deaths over in britain, germany, etc. how it doesn't even topple over 100, but what they don't tell you is the fact that people shot by guns are in the thousands. I'm with you man, fuck the liberals.

  • nice stock

  • I knew instantly this was New Zealand as soon as I heard the sheep :)

Beautiful weapon, it's quiter than any auto I've heard.

  • nice gun

  • how the heck did you make that so soft??? please help. i also have the 10/22 with a foldable ATI stock, scoped and hand polished internals..... please help

  • Fully suppressed barrel and sub sonic CCI ammo. Go to it.

  • That's the most adorable rifle ever!

  • thats a pimped 1022

  • Nice gun the Ruger. Now, if you think you should be able to buy .own or give that gun away oneday to your son or grandson. I hope you $upport a pro gun group like NRA-ILA, GOA, JPFO etc. We are up against some real traitors in the government and BOB Rush (former racist black panther convicted felon) has proposed Bill HR45. This law will make your ruger illegal, and will be the harshest Nazi like gun law in US history. Call-write your Reps..NO to HR45!

  • Nz...

  • What? I just read through this bill hr 45, it is about licensing firearms owners and keeping guns away from criminals. You seriously need to read things before you start trying to scare everyone. In canada we've had to have licenses and registry for a while, the whole registry is a bit of a train wreck, initial budget was around 2 million, to date I think we've spent upwards of 1 billion on it. A bit of a waste if you ask me.

  • Church: I have read it and so have the lawyers at GOA, JPFO, NRA etc. This is the most sweeping anti-gun legislation ever in American history. Criminals Don't abide by laws and don't buy guns from dealers...thus the term criminal. The ruger 10/22 is on the ban list, and "they" admit that the goal is to completely disarm US 1 law at a time Visit JPFO or Gun Owners of America (My warning is for US citizens.) No offense, but my warning is valid and your two cents of bullshit from Canada isn't valid

  • I'm not trying to argue, just wondering about this bill. I have just read through the entire bill and see that the majority of the text deals with background checks, licensing, registration. I didn't see a list of banned weapons or banned features of weapons, I was wondering if there is additional documents. I visited GOA and don't see any banning of weapons tied to hr 45, just licensing and outlawing of private sales. Any info on this would be appreciated.

  • 1 billion if you lucky,... the problem was you all have to regrester your guns because the government told you to and you would have to pay for it and alot of people just went screw you im not paying for it hell no... so then they changed it so it was free and now its costing an arm and a leg and I wonder how many arrests it has genrated? not many... like none... its easyer to get an illegal gun then a legal one.. and cheaper too

  • They've spent 3 billion now on our gun registry, and bills like this is how the government starts disarming its people. I wish we had NRA and people fighting for more gun rights in Canada.

  • I'm not a gun owner myself however i do have an opinion. The bill is really amusing because CRIMINALS DO NOT buy guns from stores where you register. They get them at places where all you need is money. They get them illegally. As long as you have the cash you can get a gun. You could pass all the bills you want but people will still get guns and the bill would just hurt responisble gun owners. ITs STUPID. I agree just adding my 2 cents

  • true true the guns criminals get are street guns..... they steal it or have frends buy guns then get em "stolen" by there frends then report the guns stolen that way wen the gun is used in killings it will be a gun that was previously stoled and dats how people get street guns.... there untraceable

  • @nhl4471 i agree... the same thing happened back in the 1930s with prohibition

  • @nhl4471 Well, Cho and Jason Laughner did. But only because Cho kept a very clean record so he could purchase them, and Laughner had a mental illness, but there was a miscommunication during his background check.

  • @nhl4471 Please talk to your non gun owning friends - explain your take on the issue.

Quite a few times I've been rebuffed by "but you're a gun owner" type statments. Like somehow that makes me a liar and criminal in waiting.

  • @nhl4471 That is one of the most intelligent things i've heard all week! vote this chit to the top people a guy who understand gun laws only hurt the law abiding ! AMEN!

  • @nhl4471 THank you so much for your educated comment. The polticians in power also know this. Yet they still promote gun control b/c they are afraid of armed law abiding citizens.

  • @justmedriving I'm not even sure they're afraid of gun owners as much as they are out for votes. They realize that there is more votes to gain by supporting anti-gun bills, than the lost votes of pro-gun supporters. In addition, the average American voter is more likely to think anti-gun policy is better than pro-gun policy, therefore gaining the the sort of voters that are indifferent to the policies...

  • @nhl4471 someone did their homework, you get an A++ for the rest of the semester

  • NRA ALL THE WAY

  • all the way baby

  • all the effin way, hoo raa

  • i no u have to get a permit to have a silencer, do u no how much it costs and where i can get one???

  • No permit required in New Zealand

  • Are you kidding! I thought New Zealand had strict gun laws?

  • you don't have to have a permit to have a suppressor

  • i dont have a rimfire but could it smash a brick?

  • you can buy suppressed semi auto rifles with pistol grips off the shelf??nice country you live in...

  • It's called a thumbhole stock dumbass... And the "suppressor" isn't stock. So how about you go back to your shed and leave the remarks to people who know what the hell they are talking about.

  • Andycranch (4 days ago):

"we can buy off the shelf fully suppressed"

and those are fucking sport pistol grips they are nearly vertical...

  • Apologies, Now I'm in agreement with ya. Sorry about that

  • This rifle has an enclosed pistol grip meaning it is attached to the butt-stock.

  • Where did u get the suppressor. I got a 1022 and have been wanting to buy one. Do u have to have a liscense?

  • Yes we can but the pistol grip has to be "enclosed" otherwise you need an endorsed licence.

  • Suppressors? In New Zealand? To think that you guys ever had a connection to Britain...at least with how Britain is today, no guns allowed.

But that's awesome, I wish we could do that in the US

  • britain has never really had guns. its possible, but expensive, to get a shotgun or pistol with a licence, but nobody except farmers feels the need to. police in britain don't carry guns.

  • And your pistols have to be something like 20 inches long, too.

Why the farmers? Probably a dumb question, but I don't know how your country-types are over there. I'm unfortunate enough to live in the South of the US, and those buggers will shoot strangers (humans!) on their property without warning. Its nuts. Many of them kill their own food, or for sport, or kill wolves b/c they think they're bad.

  • farmers live remotely, and either culturally or under law its accepted they might own a shotgun. it has some practical use i suppose, but mainly farmers use guns for shooting pheasants and other game birds.

there's no chance of getting shot for trespassing or anything like that in britain, and its even illegal to shoot someone breaking into your house, although farmers may have the right to shoot your dog if it is killing his sheep. that's about as far as it goes.

  • Getting a shotgun licence is not too expensive, around £50, and anone can own it if they have a reasonable amount of land to shoot on (a reason).

Handguns and rifles are a totally different matter, and are far less common, but are still around. There is much less gun culture in britain, which has both ups and downs. Personally I think they are only really contorversial in the US because of the occasional psycho.

  • how did u suppress that? Is that something u made custom or did u buy a suppressor?

  • We can buy off the shelf fully suppressed.

  • Nice RUGER rifle. I FOUND WORLD'S FASTEST FULL-AUTO RUGER 10/22 RIFLE ! Take look at my YouTube video.

  • u need the shooters ridge 50rd mag. there great i have one and they dont look goofy like the ram line ones. there on cabelas

  • Will look into it - thanks.

  • hey anyone have a 10/22 sporter stock (the checkered one) they want to sell? just wondering thanks! private msg me if ya do!

  • wow really nice setup!

  • Thanks :-) have long since fixed the jamming problem - must get around to uploading another clip with no hang ups!

  • i love those mags.

  • Since there is no license, I assume the suppressor whill cost diffrently than here stateside. How much was yours?

  • where can i get one? (suppressor)

  • My ruger does the same.

  • clean it.

  • I will, that's what my dad said was the problem.

  • I don't believe it is. Where's the video proof? You can't expect to make inane comments like that and not back it up.

  • Hell it looks pretty cool.

  • I see you had to load it several times

I have similiar problem with mine not cycling properly ... have you worked out how to fix it , finding a good brand of subsonic ammo changes things abit... good vid thanks

  • Yes combination of ammo/cheap mags which has long since been rectified. Thanks.

  • is it hard to get the licenses or whatever you need to get the suppressor?

  • Nope just a dealer and a big azz tax for one. Shouldnt have any issue if you dont't have problems getting a gun. Tax is like 200 300 can't remember almost as much as a cheaper silencer

  • wow thats alot thanks.

  • As of now the BATF suppressor tax is $200. As for the future who knows.

  • No license required for suppressors in New Zealand.

  • do u need licenses for full auto there?

  • Yes you sure do.

  • Hmmm... Reliability problems... You need to switch to better mags/ammo and polish the feed ramp/ejector on that bad boy. Otherwise very cool gun. Squirrels beware!

  • You can buy suppressors (silencers) in the US too just as long as you have the class III license. Its a lot of paper work through the ATF and a $200 tax but its well work it. Full auto weapons, SBS, and SBRs are also legal with a permit.

  • Suppressors are NOT illegal in New Zealand where that video was made, they are freely available without any type of permit and are widely used for hunting, also quite legal.Probably most .22's are fitted with suppressors there.Just because they are restricted in the USA (or wherever) does not make it so everywhere else.

  • Correct and well said!! I get tired of repeating myself so it's nice for you to have a go. Thanks!

  • damn so quiet....arent supressors...like...illegal?

  • Not here they aren't!

  • u can buy them legally

it is illegal to make them urself

without somekind of permit and proper materials

  • how much do good ones cost? and what would u recommend as a top suppressor for 22s?

  • how much was the dragunov stock adn can u buy one in utah?

  • Fajen Thumbhole stock google it they are available on the net everywhere.

  • where did you get your suppressor from??

  • It is a fully suppressed rifle - it's made with a full length suppressor.

  • i could shoot that in my apartment

  • I will probably buy a "TI25 ADVANCED COMPOSITE STEEL LIP MAGAZINE FOR RUGER 10/22." It's available on tacticalinc (dot) com.

  • >>"does anyone know of a 10/22 high cap. mag brand that doesnt jam all the time? "

First off, a Ruger 10/22 with the cheap Federal ammunition jams all the time no matter what, unless you order an $11 Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor.

Second, a cheap extended magazine with plastic lip sucks. I bought one and used it one time before returning it. Buy one with a steel lip, no exception. Midwayusa has a steel lips magazine for Ruger 10/22, 25-round. It has great reviews.

  • love it cool

  • does anyone know of a 10/22 high cap. mag brand that doesnt jam all the time?

  • nice i just won a thumbhole on ebay and i cant wait to try it on

    IF U R A SQUIRREL GET RUNNING!!

  • cool 10/22 itd b hell on squirrals

  • a 22 can actually kill a deer its not as weak as everyone thinks

  • you should use the factory mags. they only hold 10 shots but they never jam

  • I have many factory mags but wanted to try a longer burst - funny thing is since this video I have done 30 round bursts without any jamming whatsoever - but then no video proof :-)C'est la vie...

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!

  • were you using sonic ammo while you were shooting or subsonic ammo?
