There is no doubt the lads played a very straight heterosexual role early on.I remember Neil being ask was he gay, he always declined to comment.I was shocked when they admitted they were gay as i went around all my mates proclaiming how great they were.Obviously being straight i was rather embarrassed when they came out lol.Anyway i was only 15, and very naive lol.It wasn't cool to say you were gay in them days, how things have changed for the better.
