  • i can tell by ur face at the begining ur get no sleep and all u do is draw

  • dude at begining looks like he's been assaulted by terrorists and forced to make this video

  • he looks like he just got beat up

  • wow is your gf beating you ?

  • Do you already need to have this level of drawing skill shown in the video or will you be teaching students the basics and moving up from there?

  • Helo my name is usb

  • i can also draw well, but when it comes to designing the clothes or items, I really suck at i. T.T is there any ways to solve these kinds of problems?

  • He looks like he didnt get enough sleep lol

  • where is this school?

  • @Jonalexher singapore i believe

  • Deez Nuts nigga!

  • @FZDSCHOOL hey, im just started doing year 12 visual communications and im doing character design. do u have any tips for how i should start

  • the best question I have is how much will this cost to take the class?

  • @zippo360

Please refer to the Program Fees section on our website under the Admissions tab to find out more details about the course fees. Thank you!

  • @FZDSCHOOL Is this good for beginners? or do you guys have beginner courses?

  • @webDes33 the video said they would evaluate your level of drawing skills, so I believe they accept beginners.

  • he's handsome

  • Bringing your mind to life on paper is possible for anyone. The thing is, it takes massive amounts of hard work to get being really good. Feng Zhu has literally spent years of his life drawing. I still don't consider myself very good, but I can get down a good idea of what I'm seeing in my head and the ONLY reason I can do that is because I keep making shitty drawings and trying to make the next one a little more right. It just takes lotsa time and hard-nose determination to get better every day

  • I have cool idea's I just suck at putting them on paper

  • @mikesamillion27 me too bro and that depress me a lot, and I'm a damm graphic designer with hopes to some day make games... :´(

  • @DZENKON I'm currently on a graphic design course T__T and my tutor always tell me to be drawing 24/7 but i don't cus i hate all my drawings! it's an ongoing struggle and that's my dream too. to be a concept artist for a gaming company :(

  • @mikesamillion27 well the bad thing about graphic design is less free drawn and more functional things, more make this lines than create a character... but what your teacher say it's true, my gf draw better than me and she learn like that just drawing but after all I think there is a way to that, I'm doing this days, is draw something, like speed paints of someone else or draws like the video, and I think in the months to come I be better and I will have a nice album of draws XD

  • @mikesamillion27 literally the only way you are going to improve at concept art is to accept that all of your drawings are going to suck until they don't anymore, and that means nothing at all about who you are or whether you're good. Trust me, literally the only way to make them not suck is to draw CONSTANTLY, and try and make each one better than the last. LEARN PERSPECTIVE. You will never improve faster than when you learn to see and think in 3 dimensions artistically. And KEEP DRAWING.

  • @mikesamillion27 Same >_>

  • I shall be able to draw like this!!! Give me two, three years and I shall be able to draw like that/come up with cool concepts like that. These type hyper detailed pics are brilliant for concept art etc. but I remember I once saw a guy's character concept for a comic and like these it was massively hyper detailed, amazing, however I was like yeah dude, that's awesome but there is no fucking way you can reproduce that for hundreds/thousands of pages, it's just not plausible or efficient.

  • lol, im going to singapore so these guys can teach me. (i wish)

  • One day...one day!

  • hey....can you guys tell the algebra teachers at our school how to teach please?

  • i badly suck at this but i have some drawings need to upload somewhere (here)

  • @norchaaa deviantart too. Good place! ;D

  • @Jhakaro r u sure? never heard that place

  • This is what I want to do for a living. I know how to draw, but I think I lack originality. I know it sounds like a contradiction but it is true.

I really need to get into a school like this one... O___O

  • @LMaruchan18 Concept art is literally nothing but using tired old art ideas in clever new ways, and that's really only the good stuff. You have creativity in there, you just have to figure out what's rattling around in there. Scribble and draw CONSTANTLY. Every time something comes to mind, write it down. Draw it. If it sucks, great. You still got it down. Now you can try and do better on your next attempt at the same thing you just imagined. That's all it takes. ^_^

  • i can draw, sketch and come with original ideas and can design my own characters, i just need help with working them up to a professional standard, i also have trouble with proportions and angles

  • Damn, this guy looks like he's in his 20s. "Maybe one day I can be like him..."

  • I so want to go to an art school, to help tame my savage artist with in.

  • i would kill to get in that school :S (just name who u want dead, ok? u get bonus- pairs of ears of my current art teachers, they r old, deaf and crazy anyways :D )

  • is it a very hard to convert your drawing skills from on paper onto the intuos ?

  • @jasperrumbelow nope it only need some getting used to(tho you wont be as good as first, after a week maybe a month it will probably become natural and you'll be at least close to what you are on paper and it can only get better afterward

  • I soooo wanna go. Q_Q

  • Why does he look like he got beat up?

  • did you get in to the fight ?

  • I can draw your Mom!

  • I want to be a character designer, what kind of art should I study? Please help T_T

  • @PrinceOF9Imagination Get a copy of "Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist" by Stephen Peck and go through the book, page by page, and fill a sketchbook with copies of every single pencil sketch in that book. There is basically no other way I know to learn character anatomy faster. While you're doing that, find the kind of character art that inspires you and you want to emulate, and start filling a second sketchbook with copies of those. Trust me. This helps ALOT.

  • @R0ck3tM4n13 Do you think it would help me if I'm not THAT good at drawing? :/

  • @PrinceOF9Imagination Absolutely! I'm not very good at drawing either, I just know what has worked for me to help me dramatically improve what little I could do into something more. Another thing you can do that will help you develop your drawing skill is linear perspective, if skill is important to you. Learning to see and draw in perspective is the single biggest thing I've found to help the development of good drawing skills. Try it and see!

  • Asians are born with the skill to draw awesome concept art.

  • @adam11mpls Not when it came to FFX-2 :\

  • I can drawing building cars tanks machines but not characters

  • @8bennugent hahaha just got the same problem! My anotomy just gets fucked up when i try it... : ( (And i never know how to do the legs)

  • the body is the hardest part TT_TT

  • hey im new to digital art ... when drawing how do you make everything so loose as if you where drawing on paper ??? any tips or hints would be very helpfull

  • kingston?.....

  • sounds like a good excuse to move to SIN for six weeks.

  • why are all the concept artists asian?

  • @kazmanli cause we are so good

  • @kazmanli Because Americans somehow get the impression that if you aren't immediately good at something, you will never be good at it. Asian nations don't espouse this view, and thus have immensely higher rates of creative and scientific talent coming out of them. You wanna get good at concept art? Draw til you never want to draw again, then keep drawing for 10 years past that point. You'll be as good as the best then, and for the same exact reason as them.

  • This is a wonderful channel! :D I'm so glad I found you guys, can't wait to jump right in and start learning! Thank you!

  • Is the work shown by students with experince or by your teaching?

  • i can draw well but when it comes to designing my own character or object i suck

  • Comment removed

  • @koolaid5684 Then, you can't draw. Drawing is not just about the ability to draw a straight line or a curved line. You need to use these lines to create a recognizable and appealing form.

  • @Vaylemn hmm...good point, then wat would u call drawing an already exsisting object which is in plan view.....though drawing it extremly well

  • @koolaid5684 i feel bro

  • @koolaid5684 dood just relax, chill, focus on wath you want and take notes, then start drawing

  • @koolaid5684 I know what you're talking about. Do you by any chance play CA?

  • @hunk90033 sorry bro i dont play Combat Arms

  • @koolaid5684 so true. Sucks when you can't bring your characters to life like you imagine them.

  • @koolaid5684 Practice practice practice practice practice! Read history and engineering texts for engineering. Google concept art and copy things you find that you like. The imagination is an incredibly powerful muscle, but in order to stay fit it CONSTANTLY has to be kept working out. Draw CONSTANTLY. Draw until you hate drawing. Then keep drawing. You'll get there alot faster than you think. ^_^

  • Thanks, i try to draw whenever i can

    @R0ck3tM4n13

  • Feng Zhu is my Master!!!!!!!!! Long life to FZ

  • kingston baba ki jai hoooo,,,,,
